You heard a conversation on the other side of the door.
"Open the door." Dr. Kim said.
"It's not time yet. Stop being unreasonable." Hyuna said.
"It's been long enough." He said.
"It's not 6 hrs. yet." She said firmly.
"She doesn't have to be in there as long as the others." He argued.
"You don't know that. You haven't even done a single test on her. I can't always let you do what you want to do all the time." She said.
"But there's no more information for you to gather in this part and I will be the one to do the rest of the insanity test. Transfer her back." He said.
"I'm the head doctor here." She said.
"She was in my care since the beginning. You also know I don't like other people messing with my patients and you still do it." He said.
A mist was formed on the other side of the door and leaked into the dark room. You felt cool near your feet but you ignored it.
"Don't create anymore problems that will damage my position in this hospital." Hyuna said and left.
The door knob turned and mists flowed inside but you just sat there.
"Y/n." Dr. Kim called you. His voice low and soothing. He helped you stood up and went back to a your room.
You just stayed on the bed and didn't do anything. You just stared at the window and watched the light outside become bright, faded, and become bright again.
"Y/n. You have to eat. You agreed to be healed, not to die." He said.
He walked around the bed and stood in front of you blocking the window. You ignored him.
A few seconds later, he crouched down and looked deeply into your eyes. You couldn't fight his stare so you looked into his eyes too. He was smiling with sincerity. Why? Am I looking at a fairy? How is his skin glowing? It looks so soft. You reached your hand out to his face and stopped. You snapped out and felt extremely cold.
He caught your hand and jumped up. "Let's go get some sunshine." He said cheerfully and pulled you outside your room. He dragged you through the garden. The weather was nice. A clear sky with fluffy white clouds. But the garden is boring. Grass field. A fountain. Concrete paths. You thought.
Then he brought you inside an abandoned tunnel. There was water seeping out from the wall. He was holding your hand the entire time to guide you into the dark.
Halfway into the tunnel, you heard wings flapping.
Moths? You thought.
"Go inside." A voice said behind you.
"Quickly." Another voice said next to you and you jumped away from the voice bumping into Dr. Kim's back.
"Come on." He said and continued walking.
You reached the exit and saw a small stream and stepping stones that leads to a flower garden. In the garden, there were an old hut and a stone table. After he helped you crossed the stream, he let you sat on the stone table and went inside the hut.
Everything was kept tidy and clean but vines had grown into the house. Does he live here? You thought.
Then he came back with flower tea and mini sandwiches.
"Why did you bring me here?" You asked.
"Because you wouldn't eat for days." He replied.
Then You realized you ate everything on the table.
He used his thumb to wipe cream off a corner of your mouth and licked it.
You froze and your eyes went huge. He chuckled at your reaction.
"No. This is another dream like when I ran outside in the snow. I see things. I hear voices. Even a few minutes ago... Whatever I think doesn't make sense anymore. I've gone crazy." You talked to yourself.
"It is winter right now. You weren't wrong." He said.
