{Beginning - 1}

After all that time in an American school, you and your family had finally taken the flight out to Tokyo to give you a much better schooling opportunity. Of course, America had great schools and amazing heroes, but it was nothing like the wonders of Japan. The crime rate had been as low as four percent for as long as All Might had been around. Having been blessed with such a quirk like you had, one that allowed you to pull hydrogen and oxygen from the air around you to create water at any point from your body, you were accepted into UA high school on a recommendation. Luckily, today was your first day, and it already looked good because of how well you had done in the entrance race. It had been the only thing you had to do in order to get into a hero course at UA.

Arriving in front of the school, you hopped out of your mother’s car, barely turning back to wave goodbye to her. “See you later, Mom!” You call, slinging your black backpack over your shoulder before darting in the direction of the school’s entrance. Though you cannot see it, your mother smiles a delicate and caring smile as she watches your figure disappear into the crowd of swarming, quirky kids.

From around you, the whole world seems to be shutting itself out. The school seems so big, so much so that a map is required for you to find your way to your classroom, class 1A. Though it didn’t seem like a reality, this was about to be a whole new start for you and your family. A new beginning, knowing that everyone beyond the abnormally large classroom door will be a stranger to you. With that thought in your mind, you slide the door open with a small smile on your face.

The classroom doesn’t seem nearly as chaotic as you had originally thought. There were a pair of boys fighting towards the front row, one with pale blonde hair and the other with navy blue hair. You had been one of the last people entering the classroom, only about four seats free after you had taken yours.

From where you are positioned in the classroom, a boy with red spiky hair sits in the seat behind you, where a boy with yellow hair and a black zig zag through it sits in front of you. Both of them converse with one another from over your shoulder, causing you to press your body against your desk a little bit. You don’t pay much attention to them, pulling your phone from your bag.

“Hey, and what’s your name?” Says the boy in front of you, looking down at you with a soft smile.

You sit up a bit, answering his question nervously. “(Y/n) (L/n), but please call me (Y/n).” A familiar pink hue warms itself onto your face.

The boy with spiky crimson hair smiles, his teeth almost comically pointy. “Well, I’m Eijiro Kirishima.”

“And I’m Denki Kaminari!” His voice is loud in your ears, and your sudden seating arrangement seemed to be quite a mistake.

“It’s nice to meet you both. Are you two here from just solely the entrance exams, or are you here on recommendations?” Your voice is filled with curiosity, knowing that you can’t be the only one here for that reason.

Both of them stare blankly, raising their eyebrows as if your question was really complex. “Actually,” Kirishima says, the faintest of color to his cheeks, “only five people got in here on recommendations. You must be one of them, huh? Crazy, three of the five kids here on recommendations are in this class.” He says, rubbing the back of his neck bashfully.

All you can do is nod, taking a look around the room at the rest of your class as the teacher announces his presence from just outside the doorway. Though he may not look like much, the erasure hero Shouta Aizawa, or Eraserhead, is one of the more famous pro heroes. From an American girl’s perspective, the fact that he was a teacher was absolutely mind-blowing. He was stern with his words, saying that everyone was to go through a quirk apprehension test this morning and to change into the gym uniforms given to us.
