{Holiday - 1}

Halloween was just around the corner, people rushing to stores to get decorations or costumes. For your job, working at a small Tokyo supermarket towards the outskirts of the huge city was one of the easiest things you could do this time of year. Currently, your store was selling pumpkins to carve, all of them being pretty big in size. You had kids running through the entrance and exit of the store with bags of candy, exhausted parents following them reluctantly. This time of year was always one of your favorites, getting to see all sorts of costumes and decorations around the big city.

The store had been almost silent, and you were on pumpkin duty. You had to make sure that the people who wanted to buy pumpkins grabbed them and brought them into the store to pay for them. This meant you sat outside on a small bar stool, a red vest thrown over your dark (f/c) jacket. The type of people that had been coming and going was mostly elderly women, parents and kids, or just a singular person coming in to buy a bag of candy. Your job had been pretty easy, not making you do much except sit around and wait for the day to end. At this point, you were sitting on your phone, listening to the small breeze travel through the few trees around the small store.

Just when you were about to open Instagram for the second time in ten minutes, you hear a commotion in the parking lot. "Yo!" You hear, looking up from your device and in the direction of the voice. Two people both come around from behind a large truck, coming from the sidewalk. "How many pumpkins are we going to get?" A yellow haired boy had asked the kid next to him, his eyes wide and excited.

"Why are you so excited about getting pumpkins?" Said the boy with black hair, though that wasn't exactly the most interesting trait about him. His elbows were cylindrical, though they had wide holes on either side of them. They didn't look hollow, though.

You slide your phone into your pocket, looking over at the two boys. Their eyes stay on each other, not even bothering with your presence for a moment. Until you suddenly feel a gaze on you, the one with yellow hair turning to see you. "Hey, where are the biggest pumpkins?" He asks, his eyes following you as you silently stand.

The bigger pumpkins were behind all the smaller ones, so you move a few of the tiny ones out of the way. "Here, just look around this area and you'll find some pretty good sized ones. Nothing like the ones on display, but these will do." You pick up a pumpkin, one that's quite heavy, walking towards the boys.

From your hands, the black haired boy takes it from you with a cute, infectious smile. "Thanks, man." He says, the size of his smile spreading from ear to ear as if you had complimented him.

After watching them walk around a little bit, the goofier looking one walked up to you with a small smirk on his face. "So, what are you doing tonight?" He sounded as if he was trying aimlessly to flirt with you.

Heat engulfed your face as you look up at the boy, seeing his yellow eyes piercing through you, awaiting your response. Awkwardly, you replied. "Uh, I think picking up chicks only works if you introduce yourself first." The boy behind him stifles a laugh, looking as his friend seems to melt from embarrassment.

"I'm Denki Kaminari." He says, shallowly.

His friend beams, the smile on his face once again. "I'm Hanta Sero, nice to meet you!"

"(Y/n) (L/n)," you said flatly, the heat on your face subsiding.

Finally, Kaminari seems to regain his confidence. "Well, when do you get off tonight? I was thinking you and I could grab a bite to eat."

Before you could respond, Sero looked to his friend with an expression that read confusion. "Dude, we're going to Bakugou's house tonight to carve pumpkins." He said, putting a hand on his shoulder.
