Roman was freaking out. He paced the room lost in thought. How could he do that? What was going on within his head? Roman didn't know what to think. He just wanted to get him back. He loved him. He needed him. This is so infuriating. Roman froze and sighed as he looked around at everyone slowly filing in. He just wanted to ask Virgil why... Now he was stuck at this stupid party.

Right now, Roman would've given anything to see Virgil. Even the crown... he didn't care about it anymore. All that mattered was Virgil.  All he cared about was Virgil. Roman glanced around and frowned as he spotted everyone... but who he wanted. Actually Roman didn't see any of the Vk's... or Patton... or Remy, no that he thought about it. Prince started going crazy and Roman couldn't stop the smile he had just hearing Prince yipping.

"Go get him, boy." Prince yipped once in acknowledgment before running off. Roman smiled as he tried to follow only to hear the soft laughter that made him stop in his place.

"Come on, Prince. Stop it." Roman literally melted into the sound of his sweet laughter. People parted allowing Roman to see Virgil kneeling down playing with the small pup as blue flew about. It wasn't long before Roman had a little bird in his face.

"Hey there Blue." Roman cooed as he bushed his finger against the small bird. Virgil looked up in shock seeing Roman standing there so suddenly.

"Roman! I... uh... I was just..." Roman frowned as Virgil's hands clenched. Prince yipped repeatedly catching Virgil's attention, who's eyes slowly widened before looking back up at Roman. "You... You..."

"Naughty Prince." Roman smiled down at his dog as Virgil hugged himself. "You weren't supposed to tell him." Roman laughed hearing Prince yip again in annoyance. "Yes, I know you miss him." Roman looked up to see Virgil crying and Roman just smiled. "I do too."

"You remember?" Roman nodded and Virgil's breath hitched. "How, I..." Virgil's eyes narrowed as he laughed sadly. "The falls?" Roman frowned in confusion as Virgil looked away. "So what'd you do? Go for a swim?"

"Remus dumped a water bottle onto my head." Virgil laughed as Roman shrugged. "It did what it was supposed to."

"You weren't supposed to remember." Blue chirped angerly over at Virgil who wiped the tears from his eyes and glared back over at his bird. "Oh shut up. It was your fault I spelled him in the first place." Blue clammed up as Virgil looked away again. "I try to fix things and suddenly I'm the bad guy."

"But why?" Virgil flinched as Roman brushed his fingers against Virgil's arm. "You didn't have to... to fix anything. Virgil, I love you."

"That the problem, Roman!" Virgil shoved him away making Roman stumble back in shock. "You not supposed to love me. You can't love me. NO ONE CAN!" Virgil's eyes shined a bright and emotional green as tears cascaded down his face. "No one can. Especially not you."

"Why not?! Why can't you just accept that I love you?" Virgil shook his head ignoring how people were starting to look at them. " Virgil, come on. I've tried so hard to get you believe me."

"IT'S NOT ABOUT THAT!" Virgil yelled making Roman take a step back. "You can't. Ok? You just can't."

"You can't force me to not love you." Virgil laughed as Roman narrowed his eyes.

"Yes I can."

"Virgil I was in agony." Virgil's eyes went wide as Roman broke down. "Everything hurt. A part of me was missing and I had no memory of what it could be. Do you realise how bad that broke me? I LOVE YOU, VIRGIL!"

"Stop saying that." Roman shook his head as he took a step closer refusing to let this drop.

"I love you, Virgil."

"Roman stop."

"I won't." By now they were making such a scene that everyone was watching. Even the king and queen who didn't even know Roman was seeing someone let alone that something had happened. "I can't. I love you."

"Stop it now!" Roman grabbed Virgil's arms with tears in his eyes.

"I FUCKING LOVE YOU GOD DAMN IT!" Roman practicly smashed their lips together holding Virgil tightly terrified he was going to lose him again. Virgil pushed him away crying even worse now as Roman's body shook. "Virgil, please..."

"You can't love me, Roman. You can't. I won't let you." Roman growled as Virgil took a step back.

"That isn't how love works, Virgil. Please... At least tell me why." Virgil shook his head as Roman literally followed him with every step. "Why won't you just believe me?"

"I told you it isn't..."

"Then what, Virgil? Why are you so adamant about this? Why are you so avoidant?" Roman narrowed his eyes as Virgil hit a wall. "Why are you so afraid?!"

"I WON'T LET YOU BE WEAK!" Roman froze up at the sudden gust of hot air the blasted through the room just at Virgil's voice. Virgil stood there shaking as he slowly looked up at Roman. "I can't do that to you... I won't. You can't be weak."

"Virgil..."

"I can't lose you, Roman." Roman's eyes went wide as Virgil smiled sadly. "I can't lose you. If you're weak then I could lose you. If you love me than your weak. I can't let you be weak." Virgil shook his head as he hugged himself. "I can't lose you. I lo... I l..." Roman pulled him in as Virgil broke down clutching his shirt so tight his knuckles turned white. "Don't leave me. Please don't leave me. Please don't hate me. I don't know what I'm doing. I just don't want to lose you."

"Virgil breathe..."

"I'm scared, Roman. I don't know what I'm doing. I don't understand... I'm just so scared. I-I can't do this. I can't lose you." Roman held Virgil tight to his chest as the smaller broke in his arms. "I love you." Roman's eyes shot open wide as Virgil pushed himself in more. "I love you, Roman. I love you. Ok? That's why I did it? That's what I'm afraid of. I love you."

"Awe... How touching?!" The room went dark as this sinister laughter tore through the room. Roman felt as Virgil was ripped out of his arms and he froze hearing Virgil screaming out for him. The lights suddenly turned on only for Roman to see Virgil's eyes blown wide with absolute fear as Emile held him captive. Laughter filled the space as Roman's eyes darted about only to see his brother draped over the thrown with a shit-eating grin.

"Remus?" Remus jumped up with a chuckle as he crossed legs with a smile. "What..."

"Let's just get passed the twenty questions." Remus smirked as he glanced over at his parents who were currently huddling student's behind them. "I'm here to... well I don't really know. AND I DON'T CARE!"

"Remus..."

"SHUT THE FUCK UP ROMAN!" Roman flinched as Remus glared over with a devious smirk. "You know what, brother. I've finally figured out why everyone's so hung up the idea of good and bad." Roman's eyes went wide as Remus laughed. "And let me tell you... being bad is sooo good."
