Lyric
I walked out to my car, unlocking it as I got in and closed the door behind me. I put the key in the ignition, turned it and backed out of the parking spot I was in. I made my way onto the 10 freeway and back to the studio.
I listened as 'Why Do Fools Fall In Love?' blast through the speakers, bobbing my head to the beat and thinking about what happened yesterday. I brushed it off and kept bobbing my head as I made my way to my destination.

Turning into the parking garage, I made my way into the first parking spot I found and turned off the car. I looked into the rear view mirror to fix my hair a bit and to make sure my eyes weren't puffy from all the crying I had been doing.
I got out the car, grabbing my purse from the passenger side and closed the door, making sure my alarm went off telling me that it was locked. My heels clacked against the cold hard cement as I made my way to the elevator.
Pressing the button to the fifth floor I waited for the doors to open.
The bell rung and the doors finally opened. I stepped inside and pressed the same button again waiting for the doors to close. I took my phone out of my back pocket and checked to see if I had anything from Rayan. I didn't.
I sighed, pushing my phone back into my pocket and walking out of the double doors as it opened. As I walked out I felt someone hit my shoulder.
"Ow, hey watch where you're go-"
Before I could finish, the person was already in the elevator. Gone.I brushed it off and walked up to the lobby's desk.
"Hey Margaret." I smiled.
"Hey LaReina, how's my girl today?" I smiled.
Margaret was like another mother to me.She was an African American woman with long curly black hair always tied behind her head, five foot and dressed very appropriate for her age. She even gave me a few tips on what to wear. I laughed to myself.
"I'm great, thank you. Have you seen Aaron?" I asked.
"I saw him come in a little while ago, maybe he's still up there. You guys have another session today?"
I rolled my eyes, "Yeah, he called me earlier and asked if I could come in." I replied.
"You be careful with that hard headed little boy, you know he's got the hots for you." She rolled her eyes.
I laughed, "You know I'm always on his case about him liking me. I always remind him that I'm with Ray and we're happy. Trust me, we're only friends.""Mhm, I'm still watching him. If he tries anything, you make sure you call me and I'll bring my purse." She said as she patted her black purse that was sitting on her lap.
We both laughed and she started typing on her computer again.
"Okay Margaret, I will definitely keep that in mind. I'll see you later okay?" I said as I made my way down the hall and to the studio room.
I approached the door, turning the knob and walked into the dark studio room. I looked around as I switched on the lights. Nothing's been touched, everything was in order, and nothing was on.I looked around confused until I spotted a piece of paper on the bulletin board and walked over to read it,
'No studio today, something came up last minute. Sorry.
- Aaron'
I sighed.
