Just a Simple Touch

Although class was extremely hard today I enjoyed it. Ms.Reign pushed and yelled at all of us to get it together. She yelled at some of us for being sloppy with our technique, being lazy, not leaping high enough and many more. When she pointed out my flaws she would yell and have a slick comment but she did that to all the other girls too.  She yelled at Maddie the most and I felt bad but Maddie would quickly fix the mistake and didn't make the same mistake again. When class was finally over Maddie and I walked over to get our things 

"Ms Reign is so harsh" Maddie whispered to me

I nodded my head in agreement, as I was getting myself together I looked towards the exit of the studio to see if Huston was there and of course he was. He was wearing a tan heavy coat, with a grey hoodie under it that covered the top of his hair and only showed the front of his dirty blond curls, black jeans and sneakers. He looked good I understood now why Emma said she could never forget a cute face such as his.

 This time he was focused on Rebecca walking towards him. I looked away from him and back at Maddie and began to think about the party he mentioned tonight and actually considered going. Although I am not the party type I still don't mind going out and having fun once in a blue moon, going out wouldn't be so  bad after a long day of dance I thought trying to convince myself. 

"How do you feel about parties ?" I asked cutting Maddies sentence off, she was talking about something but I was too into my own thoughts I wasn't aware of what she was saying

"Uh .. I don't mind them, why?" She said satanding up and placing her pink dance bag over her shoulders 

"I was kinda invited to one tonight I don't know a lot about it but I am pretty sure my roomate Emma is going and I can find out all the details from her if you are interested in going" I explained 

Maddie was silent for a moment seeming as if she was contemplating "Yeah I'll go, just give me your number and when you find out more info just text me" I smiled at the fact that she wanted to go we quickly exchanged number and went our separate ways

When I arrived to my room there was Emma getting herself ready while she was reading an open textbook on her bed. I assumed she was getting ready for the party tonight "You are going to love me" I stated

Emma turned around and smiled at my presence  "I already do but go on" 

"I am going to the party tonight" I said chewing on the bottom of my lip nervously  already getting prepared for the excitement Emma was going to show 

Her eyes widden and began jumping around and hugging me "Oh my god yes ! I love you way more ! This is going to be so much fun !"

"And on top of that I am bringing a friend from ballet her name is Maddie she is cool you are going to like her" I said 

"Hey the more the better" She said happily, I am so happy Emma is so open to meeting new people

"Where and when is this party I need to tell Maddie" I say 

Emma explains it's in a frat house at eleven, I look at the time now and it's nine so I have plenty of time to get ready. I quickly texted Maddie the info and she agreed to meet me at my dorm in a hour since our dorm was closer to the frat house. 

I haven't been to a party in a while since I have been dedicating my time to ballet. The last party that I have been to was the one in the picture frame of  Alvaro and I about two months ago. Then I remembered the text messages he sent me and the conversation Adelina and I had about him, I texted back *We can talk*.

As Emma and I got ready for the party we blasted music, sang and danced having our own little mini party by oursleves in our dorm it was so much fun. I ended up putting on black highwaisted jeans that hugged my curves in all the right places and put on a simple long sleeve crop top that allowed to show half of my stomach.  Emma helped me straighten my hair because I don't do it often and ended up touching my waist and then I applied make up on which allowed my facial features to pop out.

"Wow Valentina you look hot !" Emma said in amazement I laughed and thanked her for her compliment and I said she looked good too, her self esteem was instantly boosted. Shortly there was a knock on my door and I knew who it was. 

"Hey Maddie!" I said with excitment welcoming her in, Maddie looked great as well she wore darker makeup that brought out her facial features and her outfit made her tiny body stand out.  

"Maddie this is my friend Emma, and Emma who is not only my roommate but my friend" I said introducing the two of them, they hugged each other and the three of us instantly clicked. 

"Okay look at my hair !" Maddie said pointing to her messy bun "I need help !" Maddie laughed 

"Girl I got you !" Emma said working her magic on Maddie's brown shiny hair, she ended up curling the ends of her hair then brushing it out to look wavy and then pinned back on side of her hair while the other side hung infront of her face 

"I love it !" Maddie admitted thanking Emma 

The three of us still had some time to kill before heading out so we ended up dancing to the music blasting in our room and taking pictures together to post for instagram. I was already having fun with my new two friends and I couldn't wait for rest of the night to get started.
