Just a Simple Touch

When it was time to leave for the party Emma offered that we take her car, during the car ride I sat in the passenger seat while Emma sat in the back, and we took our dorm party to the car. We continued to sing and dance in our seats to Emma playlist on her phone that blasted in the car speakers. There was so much laughter and jokes going on between the three of us I quickly noticed that this is the most fun I really ever had.

I rarely went to parties since I was always training and if I wasn't training I was home doing homework, but when I did manage to go to parties it would be with all of Alvaro's friends.  I wouldn't know anybody at those parties so I was always attached to his hip, but today I just felt free and I couldn't believe the amount of fun I was having with Emma and Maddie right now. 

"Soo are you excited to see Huston ?" Emma teased

"What?!" I shouted

"Who?" Maddie questioned

Emma smirked "Huston is this hot guy in our bio class we actually met him on move in day and he is totally into Valentina"

"Emma he is not !" I shouted again

Emma rolled her eyes "Oh come on we both heard what he said in class"

"I don't care what he said he isn't my type" I truthfully said 

Maddie immediately leaned in between Emma and I from the back seat "What did he say?!"

Emma glanced over at me still with a smirk on her face but I ignored her and kept silent  "Go on tell her" I still stood silent meanwhile Maddie was looking between Emma and I eagerly seeing who was going to spill the gossip first.

Emma let out a loud huff and glanced over at Maddie "He basically said she was hotter than Rebecca"

Maddie let out a loud laugh "I hundred precent agree besides Rebecca is a pain in the ass"

The three of us laughed in union "I am guessing you don't like her ?" Emma asked

Maddie made a face in disgust "I can't stand her"

"I second that" I said  "And I think I am going to try to make things work between Alvaro and I"

Emma eyes widen in shock "Are you kidding me ?! Why would you do that?"

"Who are all these boys ?!" Maddie shouted in frustration of not being able to understand the conversation

"Because Emma I miss the crap out of him" I admitted

Emma shook her head "You are making the wrong decision, you are in college for crying out loud with all these hot boys around ! And you are going after your high school sweet heart ? You can do better Valentina !"

I knew what Emma said was right but I love Alvaro we have too much history and I can't just throw that away.

Maddie sat back in her seats crossing her arms "I still don't know who Alvaro is" she complained making Emma and I laugh

By the time we finally arrived to the huge frat house I have filled in Maddie about everything with Alvaro and I and she immediately took Emma's side. At the party there were tons on people already drinking and dancing on the lawn and the music was flowing in and out of the house it looked insane. Emma found a spot right infront of the frat house and the three of us stepped out the car and walked side by side as we entered the house.

As the three of us walked in we made sure to stay close to one another there was so much going on, people dancing, drinking, smoking and I was convinced the loud rock music blasting throughout the house was going to blowout my ear drums. This environment was total new to me, back home if there was a huge party going on we would just take it as far as drinking and even fit some salsa and bachata music in there along with the current music that was out, not this crazy rock music. Here it's different and it's not a bad thing just something I have to get use to I guess.

"Here you girls are !" Emma shouted over the music handing Maddie and I red cups I hadn't even realized that we made it to the kitchen I was so caught up in my own thoughts about my surrounding.

Maddie and I took the cup into our hands and gulped down the bitter beer. I am not a fan of beer but this will do for now

"Aren't you ladies looking beautiful" The three of us turned around to spot a guy with long brown curly hair he had a kind bright smile on his face and even though he complimented the three of us his eyes were set on Maddie

"Thank you" We all said together 

"I haven't seen you two around here before" The guy said pointing to Maddie and I

"Yea this is out first time here" Maddie said taking a sip of her beer

"Well welcome" He then looked over at Emma and pointed at her "You I remember from last night" and he let out a loud laugh

Emma rolled her eyes "I wasn't that bad Caleb"

"Oh yeah sure" Caleb laughed and took a huge gulp of whatever was in his cup

"Are you guys enjoying the party ?" Caleb asked still eyeing down Maddie causing her to blush

"We just got here" I answered

"Is this guy bothering you girls?" I heard a familiar voice say I even notice that the tattoo on the person hand landing on top of Caleb's shoulder look way too familiar and I knew exactly who it was

I looked up to see Huston with a huge smile spread across his face as he looked at Emma, Maddie and I

"Always !" Emma answered jokingly and then from the corner of my eye I saw Emma elbow Maddies arm light and nudged her head towards Huston, confuson was written all over Maddies face but as seconds past her face was enlighted, she caught on I just shook my head lighlty at their interaction

Caleb shurged "I was just being polite"

Huston then looked at me making sure he scanned my body before he spoke "I'm glad you were able to make it"

I took a chug of my beer "Yea but I won't be coming to these often" I said half joking half not

"Aw why not?" He asked

"Comintments" I admitted

"Hm, I guess I will have to keep finding a way to keep seeing you then" Huston said continuing to smile at me

I felt my heart begin race why is he saying these slick comment to me? First in class and then now ? Isn't he with Rebecca ?  I saw Emma and Maddie share looks but once again I ignored them. I didn't know how to respond so I just took another big gulp of beer making sure I downed it all. All of a sudden my phone began to buzz so I took it out from my back pocket and saw that it was Alvaor, my eyes widden as I stared at the screen of my phone

"You want another beer?" Huston offered

"Um yea sure" I said handing him my red cup

He took the cup from my hand and walked over to the kitchen counter "Um do you know where the bathroom is ?" I asked Caleb 

"Yeah up the stairs and its the second door to your right" he explained

"Ok I will be back" I told Emma and Maddie as I followed the instructions given to me

When I found the bathroom luckly it wasn't being used so I took the opportunity to lock myself inside and aswer the phone

"Hello?" I struggled to say over the phone
