y/n's eyes fluttered open as she felt movement underneath her.

she sat up and saw she was sitting on arthur's lap which confused her, she hadn't fallen asleep in this position.

her eyes went to his face as the sunlight began to shine but thankfully it had been blocked by a tree.

a smile rested on her face as she watched him and saw as he made facial expressions due to what was occurring in his dream.

in one quick movement she was off of him and tapping his shoulder as if in a way to wake him up.

he stirred softly until his purple eyes fluttered open just as her did a couple seconds ago.

"i should walk you to the castle" she told him which made him nod as he softly rubbed his eyes and stood up.

she grabbed the cups before arthur helped her stand on her own feet and they descended down the stairs.

as soon as they got there they were bombarded by questions and howls from ban.

she tossed the two cups at meliodas before rubbing her head, "nothing happened guys" she said in her usual tone which made ban let out a groan.

arthur waved goodbye to everyone and they made their way out of the tavern together.

the wind softly whisped around them and her hair went flying back as arthur stared at her before quickly looking away.

a blush enveloped his cheeks as he realized he had to stop staring at this girl.

"this was fun and i think we should do it again" y/n suddenly said which made arthur look her way again just to see she was already staring at him.

his heart seemed to leap or maybe just stop completely as he smiled at her and nodded.
