it was the next day as y/n watched as children walked up to arthur, many people were preparing for the festival which would take place in a week.

it was a tradition.

y/n decided she would just join them as they were on their way to the tavern soon anyway.

"is that your wife?"

"she's really pretty!"

"wow king arthur!"

the children exclaimed as she walked over which made the king blush.

suddenly they were approached by a female, the same one that just couldn't leave them alone.

"hello there yui" y/n smiled at the girl.

although she wanted to punch her in the nose.

she kept her calm.

"i was just stopping by to ask the king of camelot if he wanted to go on a date tonight" she said with a devious smirk.

y/n shook her head as she mentally face palmed.

"go ahead and ask if you wish to" y/n told her and moved aside so the girl could approach arthur.

except he didn't even turn to look her way as he waved goodbye to the children and made his way to y/n.

"come on, meliodas wanted us there over an hour ago" arthur told the girl.

she nodded as he placed his arm around her waist once again.

so all she did was wave at yui who watched in anger, her eye twitching from the sight in front of her.

"you know yui is completely in love with you right?" y/n asked with a raised eyebrow.

arthur simply chuckled at the question.

"no she's in love with the fact that i became a king" arthur told the shorter girl which made her roll her eyes, playfully of course.

soon enough the tavern was in sight and she let out a soft sigh, she definitely did not want to work today.
