"it's been two thousand four hundred eighty one years since you've been in love y/n so cool down a little" y/n told herself which made ban chuckle.

she rolled her eyes just as the door opened to reveal arthur, king and a now tiny diane.

she blushed as soon as she walked in with a guilty look on her face.

"she gave them to me as soon as our shifts started" diane said as she grabbed her pigtail to hide behind as her eyes watered.

y/n looked at her with a blank expression before sighing, "diane i don't mind that you went off to spend time with king in your smaller form, i would've done the same" y/n said this simply to make her feel less guilty.

diane launched herself into her friends arms before smiling thankfully.

elizabeth then came downstairs with meliodas wrapped around her body, sneezing two seconds later.

"bless you" arthur said as he took a seat at one of the tables.

y/n made her way over to him, smiling as she sat on his lap and wrapped her arms around him.

"did you third wheel as hard as i hoped?" y/n asked as she saw king and diane kiss out of the corner of her eyes.

arthur huffed which made her laugh.

"harder than you could imagine" he groaned.

remembering how diane would grab king and drag him off just to kiss him or show him something cute for couples.

"it was miserable without you" arthur said dramatically which made y/n giggle softly.

"i know darling but do not fret, we can hang out during the festival" y/n informed him.

the festival was now in two days, meliodas would probably make her work despite saying they wouldn't.

that little man loved his money.

suddenly there was a knock on the taverns doors, elizabeth went to open it before ban stopped her.

"not a good idea princess" ban told her which confused her.

until she turned and saw y/n glaring at the door.
