The truck pulled up to the gate of the mansion and the driver didn't even bother to get out. He just reached a muscular hand out and pressed the bell. Usually for these older families, it was a courtesy to show your full body to prove you meant no harm.

"Good afternoon. I'm sorry but guests are not being received at the moment." Said a polite female voice.

"I'm not a guest. Tell him, if he doesn't want to receive me then he needs to leave. As in the country. And not come back till he's invited by me." Ae's tone was calm but firm. He didn't sound aggressive but his words were none the less and had the staff inside sharing a look of uncertainty.

"Pardon?" She asked, thoroughly confused.

"You heard me. Pass that message on. I'll hear his decision." Though he expected a response in a few seconds.

"Who the hell do you think you are to give me ultimatums!" A heavy voice suddenly interrupted, causing Ae to feel that he wasn't out of touch.

"When your messing where your not wanted I'll treat you as I please. What's your answer?" Ae wasn't affected by his manners at all, especially considering he was displaying them so openly.

There was a long pause and then the gate opened. Cassie looked at Ae after they parked and shook her head. He left the windows down and got out of the truck.

"Who the fuck is that?" He asked from the door.

"My guard. Get out of the the way. Your being a prick."

Mitchell, as he went by now, eyed Ae up and down instead and ground his teeth.

"Is he coming?"

"I wouldn't be here otherwise. We could have just gone straight home but now we have to deal with you." Ae didn't shove past but waited until he moved to walk in. It created a burning sensation in Mitchell's gut.

It wasn't the first time the two had met since Pete's move. Ae had never had a reason to tell Pete that he had met the man twice, once by accident and once on purpose.

He had been Mom's companion at a dinner celebration at her hotel and this man had come with his mother since he had been in Thailand for a couple of days. The moment both Putch and Ae had seen him, they had needed to hold on to each other to keep their reason. In the end she had forced him into a room where she had confronted him with a silent and pale Ae at her side. Mitchell had taken Ae's pale face and silent demeanor as fear.

Then the young man had finally opened his mouth and Mitchell realized something immediately. There was no fear in Ae. Not even in the smallest part of his tough body. No, Ae was pissed. He was hurt and pissed and looked down on Mitchell. It was a shock to him that someone who he considered beneath him had treated him as thought he was unworthy to be in the same room as them. He had exploded and Ae had dismissed him. He had simply said a few words and walked away. Just walked away.

Mitchell gave others his back, he never watched someone else's back. Never.

Since that night, he had come to Thailand one other time and sought out Ae because there was a need in him to prove that this boy was utter and absolute trash. He had intended to put the boy in his place and show him his worth but from the very beginning he had found himself in Ae's sphere of control, unable to take the reigns. He remembered the first words out of the boy's mouth during that dinner.

"What the fuck do you want? Haven't done enough stabbing, your here to dig the wound deeper?"

He had at least expected the boy to act cordially in front of everyone but Ae had shown him no face and he had been forced to endure it because if he had thrown the boy out, his compatriots would have looked down on him even more.
