Transformers Prime Bloopers and Oneshots

Paintball Fight

In the Autobot's base, all the human children just laid around bored out of their minds. They had nothing to do, the only thing that could be heard is the sound of Ratchet typing. All the other bots went out for patrol leaving the grumpy medic to once again look after the children.

"I'm so booreed." Kaia whined. "Isn't there anything to do?" She looked at Lauren who was lying on the floor with no motivation to read like she usually does.

"I don't know." Lauren mumbled, face flat on the ground.

Kaia let out a groan and turned to the others. "What about you guys?" She questioned. Jack and Raf shook their head. "Miko?"

"Nope, I don't know what we can do." Miko whined, head against the armrest on the couch.

"How about you all just stop complaining and shut up." Ratchet snapped.

"Hey, we're bored here, and we don't know what to do Doc bot." Kaia retorted.

"Well than go find something to do and don't call me Doc bot."

"Whatever old mech, you're not the one bored out of your mind."

Ratchet ignored her which really irritated her but then an idea came into her head.

~Time skip~

Optimus and the rest of the autobots came back to base only to be greeted by the sight of absolute chaos. There was paint everywhere and the children were hiding behind different corners shooting paintball. What surprised him the most is that the fact that Ratchet is in his holoform next to Raf with a paintball gun shooting the other children. Bumblebee, Arcee and Bulkhead were also in shock, not only because of the mess but because Ratchet actually joined in and seemed to be having fun.

"What is going on here?" Optimus finally called out. Everyone froze and slowly turned their head to see Optimus standing there with a look of confusion and disapproval.

"Um..." Kaia trailed off. "It was Ratchet!" She accused, pointing at him.

"What?! No, you're the one that started shooting paintballs at me." Ratchet argued.

"Lauren, Jack, Miko and Raf?" Optimus prodded. They all responded by immediately pointing to Kaia.

"Whaaaaat?" Kaia nervously laughed. "I don't know what you're talking about." She lied. He didn't believe her and then she groaned. "Okay it was me, I was bored, everyone was bored."

Optimus sighed. "Kaia what has led to this situation?"

"Well..."

~Flashback~

"Guys let's shoot paintballs at Ratchet." Kaia whispered while pulling out paintball guns. They were hiding in the corner where Ratchet couldn't see. Not like he would notice anything as he is too busy doing whatever. Miko was the only one grinning, the other three weren't sure.

"Are you sure we should do this? Optimus won't like this." Lauren asked with Raf nodding in agreement.

"I agree with Lauren, Optimus would not be happy with this." Jack said. He looked at the paintball guns that Kaia pulled out earlier. "Where did you even get these?"

"I suggest not asking such a question." Kaia then held out two paintball guns. "Come on? Don't you want to see Ratchet covered in paint? His reaction? I know you want to." She prompted.

"Yeah, it'll be fun!" Miko encouraged, also holding out guns for Raf and Lauren.

Jack was not going to lie, he actually wanted to shoot Ratchet with a paintball gun. It's not like there's anything better to do, so he grabbed it. Lauren and Raf finally deciding to join in the fun and grabbed one too. To make it weirder and funnier, they all put war paint on their faces.

Ratchet continued to work, not noticing all five children sneaking up on him. It wasn't until he felt wet splashes hit his back. Startled he turned around and look at himself and saw paint of various colours. Then more paintballs were shot his way and he quickly ducked behind his table.

"What are you doing?!" He hissed, trying to avoid all the paint.

"Well Ratchet, you said we had to find something to do and here we are." Kaia answered.

"Well I didn't mean it like this, this is childish and you're all making a mess!" Ratchet barked.

"You're just afraid to admit you can't beat a bunch of children in a paintball fight." She taunted.

"Yeah Ratchet." Miko smirked.

"That's it..." Ratchet growled. He looked to the side and saw another paintball gun. He transformed into his alt mode and went into his holoform. He grabbed the gun and stayed behind his desk.

"I'll show you whose afraid." Ratchet quickly moved to shoot Kaia which hit her in the stomach. Everyone looked at him in shock and looked at Kaia. She grinned and jumped.

"PAINTBALL FIGHT!" She shouted. Everyone then scattered throughout the room, shooting paintballs at each other, everyone in pairs. Raf stayed with Ratchet, Miko and Jack were paired up and Kaia was with Lauren.

Kaia shot Jack but then got shot in the face by Ratchet.

"HAH! YOU CAN'T BEAT US!" Ratchet laughed like a maniac. No one made a big deal at the fact he had just laughed because they were too busy either shooting someone else or avoiding being shot. Since Ratchet was now distracted with Miko and Jack, Kaia let out a war cry and started shooting Ratchet while Lauren shot at Raf. "Wha-" Ratchet felt multiple paintballs collide with him.

Meanwhile at the computer, Optimus was speaking, trying to ask Ratchet to open up the groundbridge but no one seemed to have heard. This left Optimus confused and worried, so he ordered the other autobots to drive back to base.

Which leads us to now.

~End of flashback~

"And that's what happened." Kaia finished and looked down towards the ground. Everyone else including Ratchet looked down guilty as well. Optimus looked at all of them and sighed. He was torn between disappointment and amusement.

"I must say, I am disappointed with the mess that was made."

"Sorry Optimus." Ratchet apologized with the children doing the same.

"But I'm glad that you all had fun, even you old friend." Optimus smiled.

Ratchet looked at him in shocked and nodded.

"None of you have to be worried, I am not mad about this." Ratchet and the children let out a sigh of relief. "But this does not mean that there are not any consequences, you are all to clean the base." They groaned and went to do what he said.
