—Recap—
Ori has now learnt of his past. Via visions in form of memories. His past life, his death and leading to his revival. This crystal that is now imbedded into his forehead seems to have hidden powers within it. But just what powers exactly is yet to be discovered. Unless Mira tells Ori all about it herself.

"M-my grave?! That's impossible!" Ori denied it completely. It wouldn't be possible, it shouldn't be possible. Yet, Ori stands right here and now. He believes the only time he was revived was by the spirit tree. Not by these 'crystals' that rest deep into the earth.

"If... that's my grave, then... how am I alive right now?" Ori relaxed himself. Shouting at Mira would do no good.

She remained silent for a moment.
"I'm... not exactly sure..."

"What do you mean?"

"It's beyond my recognition to know exactly how you are alive right now. But, the main hypothesis I have is the crystals below us. As I mentioned already."

"But... they're just crystals. I don't see how these crystals alone would revive me." There was a clear hint of disbelief in his voice.

"Allow me to explain what I, personally, believe."

"Alright."
Ori leant against the stone pillar, crossing his arms and looking directly at her.

"So, you see, these crystals below us have some strange power. The power to retain lots of energy for a prolonged period of time. Surpassing a threshold would release the excess energy to whatever or whomever is closest to it. This only occurs during the great storms. The lightning constantly strikes the ground, feeding energy to the crystals if the lightning strikes close enough. Once enough is received, energy is released and you, Ori, were the closest to it. Your body absorbed the energy and was vaporized completely."

"So, I was destroyed?"

"Well, yes but actually no. These crystals do however have the same energy as the spirit tree.
And there's a connection between the two. In turn, your body was transferred to the spirit tree resulting in your rebirth. All of this, occurring during the same storm.

"But if my body was transferred to the spirit tree, why weren't my memories?"

"Only the light energy for your body was carried, but your memories were not." Mira answered.

"Then, how come I didn't remember anything until now? And if I recall you called me Oraris from my memories."

"Your revival left some sort of 'footprint' onto you. Small minuscule amounts of different energy left by the crystals. It was left dormant during your entire life, till now. I couldn't activate it until you were both but a small distance away from me and had physically matured. Once you reached this place, I used my control of light to set it free into your body. Hence the crystal forming onto your head. Regarding your memories, what could be found has returned. As you've seen already, an important memento from long ago. That scarf in this case. As for that name, it was originally yours."

"Does my new name... bother you?"

"As much as it doesn't feel the same in my heart as I say it... your new name suits you very well."

"Oh, ok. Th-"

"I should mention however, that your resurrection wasn't fully complete. Or perfect I should say." She interrupted.
"Your soul was split in two. One part residing with you and one within another. Your half has matured into you, Ori. Whilst the other is... unknown."
