Quinn
"You did what?" Gunner asks pacing in front of where Doc and I are sitting on two bar stools while most of the brother's filter in.
"She'll be fine." I say knowing I'm not making any of this any better.
I've never really had to explain why I punched someone to another person.
"You have to be fucking with me." He growls making Doc laugh.
"Bro it's fine. Everyone is fine.... Well except for Tracey." Doc says making me flick him in the ear.
"Not helping." I hiss making him chuckle.
"Why'd you hit her?" Gunner finally questions me.
"She shoved me a few times, and when push comes to shove, literally, I don't take it well." I say with a slight shrug.
"You didn't have to punch her." He growls making his brothers around him laugh lightly at his antics.
"Well she called me a bitch and a whore so I think that calls for something." I say shrugging again.
"She did what?" Gunner asks.
"She handled it Gunner. Everyone is fine, and I got to find out Quinn has a killer right hook." Doc says winking at me.
Gunner glares at his little brother and shakes his head.
"It was a right jab." I say after a few seconds of it being awkward.
"What?" Gunner asks looking at me again.
"I said it wasn't a right hook it was a right jab."
"Jesus." He growls running a hand down his face.
"You." He points at me. "No more punching." Then he points at Doc. "And you. Don't allow her to get into fights."
I sigh getting to my feet. I'm not down on the ground two seconds before Gunner has me sat back on the bar stool again. His brothers give him a few looks before getting their partying started again. Music starts up as Doc leaves me to go flirt up some girls that just walked in.
"I was going to go take a shower." I mutter. "And my feet don't even hurt anymore." I add as Gunner sits next to me.
"Have a beer with me." He says having the guy with a leather vest on like the rest of the bikers here hand us two beers. The only thing is that the only front patch he has on says prospect. Gunner's has President on it over his right peck, and a few others as well.
I take the beer from him and just hold it. He takes a drink glancing down at me.
"Your hand okay?" He asks looking at my swollen and split knuckles.
"Yeah." I say taking a sip of the slightly bitter liquid.
"I never asked. Do you have someone you need to call? Let them know you're okay?" He asks turning to face me. I turn bumping my knee into his.
"I guess I should call my father. I don't know what I would tell them..." I whisper looking down at my bare bandaged feet.
Strong fingers pull my chin up making me meet Gunner's eyes.
"You'll come up with something. Then we'll get you home after we make sure you're safe." He assures me a sad smile pulling at his lips. He looks tired.
" I haven't talked to my parents or family in almost two years Gun. I doubt they even know I was... Gone." I choke on the last word.
"If you can punch someone you can make a phone call." He says making me laugh while a few tears fall down my face.
