Gunner
I pace back and forth behind my desk. What the hell is wrong with me? She's off limits. I can't touch her. I shouldn't touch her.
My phone ringing stops me mid step. Fishing it out of my jeans pocket I hit answer without looking at who it is.
"Yeah?" I snap.
"You need to get down here." Rise my VP says.
"What's up?" I ask my voice all buisness.
Grabbing my bike keys I head out towards the bar.
"You better just meet us. We're about two miles from the club heading east."
"I'll be there." I hang up just as I come to the mouth of the bar. Laughing pulls my attention as my eyes track Quinn.
She's sitting in her sweatpants and that damn shirt that's too tight in the chest area. Doc is at the pool tables shaking his head as he goes to line up a shot.
"Watch I'll get this next one." Doc says with confidence.
"You fucking suck at pool." I comment strolling over to the bar to lean right next to Quinn. I know I shouldn't, but I can't help myself.
"I'm amazing." Doc says rolling his eyes as he shanks the ball.
"You would think you would be good being around a table all the time." Quinn comments as I reach up grabbing a piece of her silky blonde hair and twirling it around my finger.
"He doesn't learn so that he can pick up chicks who can actually play." I whisper in her ear making her laugh. "It doesn't work." I add making her explode in a giggle fit.
"Don't you have something better to do than insult me?" Doc grumbles.
"Sadly." I say scanning Quinn's face.
She smiles at me before I drop her hair and leave the bar to my bike. Cranking it up I head towards the road going east. Two minutes later I roll up on three of my brothers all standing in the road pacing.
"Come look at this boss." Lex growls from where he stands halfway in the ditch.
Walking over I get a good look at what we're dealing with.
"Motherfucker." I growl out.
"This was left with the body." Rise says handing me a folded up piece of paper.
I look away from the dead naked, battered and broken girl laying in the ditch to take the note.
We know you have her. Return her or we keep going through your women.
I look from the note to the girl again and curse.
"Gunner Rip isn't going to take this well. He was fucking her, nothing serious, but they had a deal." Rise says.
"Shit."
"What's the call pres?" Tease asks.
"Call the prospects and have them clean this shit up. Rise send out a text. We're going into lock down while we figure out our next move. All women and children need to be back."
He gives me a look.
"All women and children, even-" He questions.
"That's what I said." I cut him off.
He nods complying while I get back on my bike. Fuckers dropped one of our girls in my territory. That's war.

Quinn
"Gunner's right. You're terrible at pool." I comment as he shanks the hundredth ball today.
"I'm just out of practice." He mumbled to himself.
"Sure." I say sarcasticly.
"Wanna show me how it's done?" He asks.
"Yeah." I challenge getting up and carefully walking over so I don't get yelled at for moving.
"Hand it over." I say pointing to the stick.
He hands it to me and I round the table to the cue ball before glancing at him.
"You ready for this amazingness?" I question.
"Yeah yeah. Just get going." He says.
Shrugging I line up my shot to a solid and shoot the ball in the side pocket. I move around the table shooting in the rest of the solids and pissing Doc off.
"Why the glum face?"
He narrows his eyes on me and shakes his head.
"Where did you learn to shoot?" He questions.
"Neighbors had a pool table." I shrug handing him the pool stick back.
"Don't try so hard." I say winking at him as I make my way back to the bar.
His phone buzzes on the bar just as I sit down. Glancing at it I see it's from Rise.
"Hey Doc you got a text."
He jogs over snatching his phone to look at the screen.
"Weird. We're having a full lock down."
"A what?"
"Lock down. No one is in or out except members and all women and children are to be present if they have ties to the club."
"That's sounds like fun." I say and by the look he gives me it's the opposite of fun.
"Old ladies and club Mama's in one complex is like going into the thunder dome."
I laugh twirling on the stool.
"Wait so why would Gunner call a lock down?"
As if on que Gunner walks into the clubhouse looking pissed off. His jaw is set as he storms past us to his office that he slams the door to so hard it echos.
"I'm guessing it's for whatever he's pissed about."
Rise, Lex, and Tease walk in a few minutes later shaking their heads.
"We have church once everyone gets here." Rise announces. " Families and whoever else is going to be here any minute." He adds.
Doc turns to me.
"It would be better if you went to your room while they circle in." He says.
"Oh... Okay." I stand walking towards my room slowly and carefully.
I shut the door behind me and flip the inside lock before bouncing onto the bed and turning on the TV Doc went out and picked up for me.
I just have Netflix and Hulu on it, along with Prime. I go to Netflix and scroll through until I find a random movie to press play on. Step Brothers play as I lean against the head board and pull the comforter over my legs and feet. I hear doors opening and closing, people talking, and kids laughing.
Sighing I sink down into the bed my eyes slowly sliding shut and my ear drowning everything out as I fall asleep.
