Chapter 10- Birthday Surprises

Eugh today was my birthday. I did not want school on my birthday and I especially didnt want too spend my birthday with Jake. I raked a hand through my bed hair as I walked through the house listening out as I went. Me and Jake hadn't really spoke after what happened at school but today I was 18 so thats all that mattered. But the funny thing was when I sin Jake last night the love bite I gave him was huge and I dont think hes going to me able to hide it. Giggling too myself I set two pieces of toast in too the toaster and flick the kettle on just as Jake comes in too the kicthen.

I waited for a some sort of remark but nothing came instead he shouted

"Happy birthday!!" before hugging me. I hugged him back instantly chuckling too myself.

"Thank Jakey Boy" I smiled while he scolwed at me, Jakey Boy was my new nickname for him which he hated but it made me giggle so more fun for me.

"Dont" he warned which made me giggle more "anyway wait here I have a birthday present for you" smiling to myself I thought of all the things Jake could of got me.

A book

A new pencil case

A new ruler(as a joke)

Maybe a new chemistry book?

"Here you go" Jake pulled me out my thoughts as he come back in too the room holding a little brown bag out towards me. I took the bag and peered in too it

"Theres two boxes?" he nodded as I put my hand in the bag and pulled out the first box. The white box fitted perfectly in too my hand, taking the lid off my eyes met a beautiful charm bracelet

"Look at the charms" Jake ordered so I did what he asked. I picked up the first Charm.

A little chemistry book

A pair of head phones

A little cyrstle heart

And a little mug full off coffee

Giggling too myself I picked up the chemistry book

"So I remember who brought me it?"

"Yep" he nodded "now open the 2nd one"

"Okay, keep your knickers on" I giggled, I put the charm bracelet on the table before picking up the 2nd box. It was like the 1st but instead of it being white it was black with a little swirly 'A' On the front. Lifting the lid once again my eyes were met with a beautiful piece of jewerlly but this time it wasn't a bracelet.

But a necklace.

A silver necklace dangled in my hand, on the end was a heart inbedded with once again little cyrstles. I think Jake has a festish for crystles. I stared down at the necklace, I didnt even relaise I was crying until jake said.

"Hey dont cry" he patted me on the back like a six year old making me chuckle

"Thankyou Jake they are both amazing" I gushed

"Your lucky it was your birthday today" he chuckled, I raised an eyebrow, what was he on about?

"What you mean?"

"Well you gave me the big fuck off love bite on my neck, so I'm just saying that your lucky its your birthday today other wise I'd have too get you back for it" he chuckled, my cheeks going bright red.

I hadn't realised he knew about the love bite.

"Yeah yeah whatever, just put the necklace on me" I ordered as I picked the bracelet and latching it our my right wrist.
