The saddest day had arrived in Qinghe and king Xiujiao's health is getting worst since the past months and many people in Qinghe are worried about his condition. They are also worried about Mingjue being the king but his age is still not that fine to succeede the throne as king as Lanling keeps on forcing Qinghe to become a state of Lanling under the hands of the Jins. Mingjue then replied to one of the officials about Qinghe about this. "I know it's still not my time but I promise once I ascend I will do everything for the sake of Qinghe. I will free our kingdom from the hands if the Jins. One of the officials then spoke. "You are still young to carry on your father's duty as king of Qinghe, that's why we are planning to find an older cousin of yours to become Qinghe's ruler fir a while. Mingjue then yell in anger and speak. "Qinghe is under the hands of Nie Xiujiao and I, Nie Mingjue, son of the current will suceede the throne and so was my brother!"
That night Mingjue was walking at the palace corridors when he heard two woman talking. It looks like there talking about Huaisang for sure. The two women were queen Zhangyin and one of the maids, Mingyan.

Mingyan is the lady in waiting of queen Zhangyin he and a former lady in waiting of Mingjue's mother. "Your majesty I know your worried about Huaisang himself but please calm for a while and rest my lady." Said Mingyan. Zhangyin can not rest nor can sleep for the following days and still worried about Huaisang as well as for Mingjue, her husband, and the kingdom of Qinghe as well. "Zhangyin my son is still young to expirience this kind of pain and suffering of the kingdom.... So may I have a word with you?" "Yes my lady. What is it?" "I am giving Huaisang to you. Please take good care of him as your child after all you treated him the live you also gave to Mingjue and also to me as your queen as well." Mingyan replied in dismay. "But he's your son and prince of Qinghe. He is will also be Qinghe's ruler someday and Qinghe will need him too." "Please Im begging you raise and protect him, I might or may see him but please guide him to the right path to be a good man of honnor and pride." Mingyan began to agree to Zhangyin's words towards and promise to raise Huaisang better as she can.
Mingyan went to Huaisang's room to visit him for a while. An hour later Mingjue appeared and talk to Mingyan. "Nanny I just want to talk to you. Are u going to take A sang with you?" She then answered in dismay. "Yes your majesty but I din't want to take him with me. I want him to stay in Qinghe. But this is for his own safety from this war." Mingjue then answered. "My brother is getting involved by this wars and threats but please keep him safe and please protect him at any cost." Mingyan nods her head and both she and Mingjue hug each other tightly wit tears. She also give Mingjue time to say good bye to his to say good bye he said."My little brother I may not be with you right bow. But someday we will meet each other again and bring you home again here in Qinghe, but for now please stay with nanny she'll keep you safe and will always protect you. Promise me you will be a good boy always and all time. Wo ai ni Huaisang."
Mingyan then departs along with Huaisang leaving Mingjue at the palace gates. This is the last time Mingjue will see his brother, but will meet again in the future as years will come.
