DEATH BY A THOUSAND CUTS

Late at night, You left me in the streets alone, and I took a long way home.

I asked the traffic lights if everything would be alright, they said "I don't know."

I thought you could walk with me tonight, but seeing you with someone else made my heart cold.

I couldn't move a step, and the tears of mine had blurred my pathway.

You said our love would last forever.

Where are you when I torn apart and broken?

How could you leave me without saying anything?

Tonight, you made me insane. I chased the lights of madness, I saw your name everywhere in the neon boards.

I drunk a lot hard of wine, but it was enough to forget the pain I felt inside.

I spend my time wandered the places just to leave the traces of you behind.

Your memories had reminded me in the crossroads, like cords of our past.

Every step I took, the pain sliced deeper inside of my heart.

I couldn't pretend that I was okay when I was not, and I asked the traffic lights once more, if everything would be alright. They said "I don't know."

My soul was lost in these broken paths of nowhere, feeling dizzy by a bad drug.

I couldn't bring back everything we shared back then, the pieces of our love are difficult to fix, since it was shattered by you.

When our story was finally over, I stopped writing the pages about us, the tragic end of our love.

- Saying goodbye is like death by a thousand cuts, and when the morning comes, you are no longer my lover.
