GIVE MY HEART A BREAK
The day I first I laid my eyes on you, my heart beats fast.
Our distance was been so close yet so far, seeing you with a new lover left me with a scar.
The moments we shared together was a deception, loving me was a bitter lie.
There are times, your eyes didn't care enough to stared at me with affection.
Instead with hatred and disgust, like I was dirty rag in your sight.
It is when I realised I would never fall in love again.
I would never let someone open my door and enter my life, if they only came to shatter my heart into pieces.
I learned from my stupid mistakes.
I had enough to being weak, hopeless, and crying in the arms of solidarity.
I needed to start to love myself and forget the past behind me.
I had to be strong, these scars would help me to move forward and live to present.
Without you tonight, there's no way I could turn back and I choose the new direction.
A new life without you, a brand new day to forget my pain.
I deserved a second chance, to prove myself that I was worth to live and to be loved.
- - - I would let go tonight to give my heart a break.
