YOUR ROSE

I gave you a shelter for you to grow, and I poured all of my water of love genuinely.

When in times you are weak and alone, I always stayed by your side.

I showed you my love and I gave you air so you could breathe.

I gave you strength so you could stand tall.

Every day you wouldn't be thirsty, I never let my guard down to keep you safe and sound.

Don't you know you are perfect to my eyes, I don't know you got me hypnotised, so mesmerised by your beauty.

In these bed of earth, you are my beautiful rose.

When you grown and bloomed, you gave me a colourful bliss on my lips.

I always wanted to receive your whole true love.

You just gave me your petals, and nothing more.

I put your petals underneath my fragile heart.

And it's heartbreaking that in the end,

your petals turned into sharp thorns.
