SORRY IS NOT ENOUGH
A simple sorry couldn't bring back the way it used to be.
It couldn't heal my fragile heart.
It couldn't make me smile again.
It couldn't erase the bitter memories.
It couldn't bring back the old and carefree us.
A thousand sorry couldn't fix the trust and the promises we'd made.
It couldn't take back all the painful words you had said to me.
It couldn't turn the the clock to rewind our happy moments together.
It couldn't intertwine our fate to find us back together again.
It couldn't lead the path on exactly where we are.
For me, saying sorry is like a burning bridge.
It hurts to walk alone with burning tears in my eyes.
It hurts to breathe when my lungs are filled with flames of rejection.
It hurts to see you with someone, and I felt anger.
It hurts when you closed the door between us and left me with a feiry scar.
That night, you were at my door, pleading for an apology.
I'm sorry but not sorry.
Save them for someone who could love you sincere and true.
Without any word, I closed the door, that ends of our story.
No second takes.
