"are you all packed?" josh asked, when tyler walked into his room.

"yeah. your mom already took my bag." tyler nodded. we walked over to the bed, sliding under the blankets with josh. he kissed him.

"you've never been to my grandparents." josh smiled.

"nope. do you think they'll like me?" tyler asked.

"oh yeah. they like everyone." josh nodded.

"well good. i hope they like me." tyler nodded.

"they've probably forgotten that i'm gay, by the way so i'm gonna have to remind them." josh giggled.

"oh cause we official official." tyler smiled.

"mhm. i love you." josh said.

"i love you too princess." tyler kissed him again. 

"alright. are we ready?" josh asked.

"how long is the drive?" tyler asked, taking a hit off his juul, josh doing the same thing.

"about 2 hours i think." josh nodded. "i know it sucks."

"i'm gonna die from nicotine withdrawals." tyler chuckled, taking another big hit before putting it in his pocket.

"just sleep. that's what i do." josh said.

"yeah we can take a good nap together. can we bring a blanket?" tyler asked.

"yeah there's already one in the car. i'll bring this." he grabbed a pillow.

"good. now we're all set." tyler wrapped his arm around joshs shoulder, as they walked out of his room and down the stairs. josh snuck in a quick hit from his juul before they walked to the living room.

"hey guys, y'all ready?" laura asked. jordan ran up and hugged tylers legs.

"yeah." josh nodded. bill grabbed his bag, smiling at josh before walking out and going to pack it. bill wasn't too happy that tyler was going on this trip.

"love you." tyler said to him as they walked out.

"i love you too." josh blushed, tyler leaning down and pecking his lips.

laura smiled from in front of them, hearing those words. she knew, josh told her, but that was like the first time that she straight up heard them say it.

"okay girls y'all are gonna sit in the back with jay and boys up here." laura said, pointing to the two rows of seats.

they climbed in, immediately finding a comfortable position to fall asleep in. tyler was laid down, pillow behind his head, and josh was mostly on top of him, with his head buried in tylers shoulder. they had the blanket on top of them. josh let out a yawn.

tyler played with joshs curls, assisting the boy in falling asleep.

"kidsss, we're here!" laura yelled, waking everyone one up.

josh groaned, stretching out on top of tyler. tyler shuffled, rubbing his eyes and yawning.

"fuck." tyler mumbled, josh slightly slapping him as his parents were still in the car.

"shit sorry my bad." tyler said, josh hitting him again but laughing. tyler just laughed, covering his mouth.

"watch your mouth inside. both of you." laura said, before getting out. josh giggled, before also getting out as well as tyler. then the other kids got out.

"you always do this shit to me." tyler whispered to josh, as he adjusting his crotch.

"do what?" josh asked.
