•Chapter Eight•

•Ailey's POV
I nodded as he hugged me tightly, I could feel his body warmth pressed against mine and it felt like he was guarding me.

He released his arms from me and smiled. That killer smile.

He brung blankets and pillows into the cabin's living room from my bedroom and laid it all neatly down on the floor. I laid down as he sat beside me leaning against the sofa and I attempted to sleep.

I twisted and turned around for half an hour until sitting up, "I can't sleep." I moaned while frowning.

He pulled the duvet up to my shoulders and took out his phone, he fiddled with it for a few seconds until sound came out of the speaker.

"This will help you sleep." He whispered and closed his eyes. The music played a gentle instrumental which was soothing to hear and I began to nod off.

•Woohyun's POV
I peeked over my shoulder to see Ailey dozing off and I discreetly shuffled closer to her.

A thin strand of hair softly fell out of place and I carefully swept it back. I turned off the music and tip-toed to turn off the living room light before returning back to my side of the floor and slept beside her. Just knowing she is beside me is enough, I'd hate to see her get hurt again.

•Ailey's POV
I yawned and stretched my body out on the living room floor. I slowly opened my eyes squinting from the sunlight and checked my phone, '6:01'

God, it's early. I stood up and wobbled to the kitchen to pour myself a glass of water.

As I gulped the water down, I noticed a figure which opened the girls bedroom door. I looked harder to see who it was and Hyo Jin gave me a burning glare while closing the door behind her.

She walked closer to me and noticed on her right that Woohyun was peacefully sleeping, "Ah. You two slept out here? By yourselves. What nerve you've got." She said as she stomped closer and closer to me.

"I would stop there, Hyo Jin. Leave her alone." A deep voice came out of nowhere surprising Hyo Jin and I, Woohyun rested his head on his forearm with his eyes tightly shut.

He opened them and spoke again, "Hyo Jin. Go." I tightly wrapped my fingers around my glass of water as Hyo Jin's expression had the mixture of frustration, anger and plain crazy.

She exhaled loudly with disbelief while tramping back, she slammed the bedroom door making loud movement from the boys bedroom.

Chan Young and Min Seok walked out their bedroom with confusion, "Yaaah" Min Seok slurred, "What was that sound?!" He asked while scratching his head and I rolled my eyes, "Hyo Jin."

Chan Young plodded over to the girls door and thumped on it three times before shouting, "Yah! Hyo Jin! This isn't your home, don't be making a loud racket in this cabin! Aish, girls are so frustrating." A loud thud hit the door and Hyo Jin screamed, "Shut up!"

It was 6:49am and the whole group made our way for breakfast. Woohyun and I walked beside each other and murmurs surrounded us with extremely intimidating stares.

Woohyun whispered to me, "Don't take notice of them." He grinned and I could not care less of what everyone was thinking about once he said that to me. It's like he can read my mind sometimes.

We all plonked down on the bench and started eating our cereal. Chan Young devoured his like a pig without even talking and I sat poking my cereal with my spoon.

The night replayed over and over again in my mind and at this point, I pitied Hyo Jin. I stared into distance as Hyo Jin sat directly in front of me and flung her leg with full power kicking me on the shin.

I winced and attempted to endure the pain but I made the table quiver and Woohyun worriedly asked, "Are you okay?! What happened?"

Okay. I'm holding this in. It won't be long until Hyo Jin leaves me alone.

"Oh, it's nothing. My stomach hurt for a second but it's gone now." I replied as Hyo Jin smirked.

Am I a weak target to her all of a sudden? Everything will be fine once we get back to school, won't it?

Woohyun was worried about me, "Do you need a teacher?" He asked and I shook my head smiling.

Hyo Jin slapped her spoon on the table and glared at Woohyun and I, "Everybody listen. I heard a rumour that a boy and girl slept in the same room together on their own last night. I wonder who it was. Isn't that against the trip rules?" She announced slyly.

Chan Young choked on his cereal slapping his chest, "S-S-Sleeping t-t-t-together..?!?!" He asked shocked.

Min Seok replied, "Aigoo. Dirty mind, Chan Young. Not that way," while wiping Chan Young's lips using his sleeve.

The teacher blew the whistle before we continued speaking, "Our last activity before we leave is a bike ride, it's a great opportunity to see the area's stunning view, let's go!" She enthusiastically said.

Woohyun and I nervously looked at each other before following the teacher. I picked the baby blue bike with a small metal basket in front and started riding down the path with Woohyun who had chosen a black bicycle.

The warm autumn breeze swept through our hair as we continued riding down the path.

Woohyun was slightly ahead of me because of the narrow road and I noticed behind me was Hyo Jin, Da In, Chan Young, Yoo Ri and Min Seok.

We were riding at a slow pace and Da In provokingly asked loudly to Hyo Jin, "Isn't the two people who slept in the same room Ailey and Woohyun?! Heol. I wonder what the teacher has to say."

The word echoed in my mind and I replied, "Are you upset because it's not you? If you continue like this then you seriously have problems."

Hyo Jin scoffed angrily and someone pushed me with full force off of my bicycle and I glided across the path screaming in pain. I didn't catch a glimpse of who actually did it and before I knew it, my knee was bleeding and I couldn't feel my right foot.

Woohyun rushed over and asked, "What happened?! Chan Young, get a teacher!"

Chan Young began running nervously and I replied, "Someone pushed me off and I can't move my right foot."

He lifted my arms up and put them on his shoulders before lifting my legs up carefully around his waist, piggybacking me.

"You'll probably need to go to the hospital, I'll take you to the teacher first." Hyo Jin, Da In, Yoo Ri and Min Seok all stood there with their mouths open, watching us in silence as we continued walking down the long road.

Who on earth pushed me?
