Chapter 17: Meeting Apologise

You and Bee where just about to go recharge as Optimus patiently waited for you in his quarters with your parents. You entered the room as you saw Optimus sitting on his desk with a data pad with him. You greeted Bee a goodnight as he went to his quarters and closing the doors. You closed the doors as you walked towards your parent's room, greeting them a goodnight as they also responded before going back in their room.

"Goodnight, Optimus." You said as you made your way to your berth.

"Goodnight to you too, Y/n." Optimus said, not facing her.

As you were about to fall into recharge, you heard Soundwave speak through the bond, which caused you to flinch and just shrugged in response. Optimus noticed it and gave his attention to you.

"Y/n, is something wrong?" Optimus asked

"(sigh) It's just Soundwave. Again." You said as you hugged your legs and tucked your helm in your arms. "He completely ignored me during the whole event earlier and now, he wanna talk?!"

"What did he said to you?" He asked again

"He just wanted to apologize about him not wanting to disappoint the warlord about the satellite." You said, "Right now he's telling me that he wanted to meet me somewhere, in private tomorrow, where no one can disturb us-WHAT IN THE FRAGGING PITS?!!" You shouted

"HEY IT'S LATE!!!"

You and Optimus heard Ratchet yelling, basically still in the command center at this hour.

"Eh, sorry Ratchet." You said apologetically.

"What did Soundwave told you?" Optimus asked

"Uh, Optimus, its really private and it's between me and him." You explained

"Very well, I will not push you in answering." He said

"Though I do have a question." You said, "What do you think if uhh, two cybertronians are like, how do you call mating in cybertronian and I know it sounds ridiculous."

"In terms of relationships, we most likely called it 'interfacing'. Why do you ask?" Optimus asked

"Because Soundwave wanna do it." You said with a squeak in your voice. "I know it sounds ridiculous and bad at the same time, since we're in the middle of war, of course it could cause distractions and worst of all it could end up in being a disaster." You said quickly.

"I do agree with your worry, but it is only your choice to make, Y/n. As long as it won't cause any suspicion to the others, especially to our enemies." Optimus explained

"Because they can use it against us, I know." You said, "But what happens if me and Soundwave....."

"Like I said, Y/n, 'it is only your choice to make'. Though if your private activity with Soundwave created something more, then you must stay here at base no matter the cause. Understood?" Optimus asked

"Of course, Optimus. I understood." You replied

"Good, now you need to recharge." Optimus said

"Optimus," you said, as he looked at you again, "Thank you for listening and understanding."

"Your welcome, Y/n." Optimus said as you lay down on your berth as you went to recharge.

The next day, you and Bee decided to take Smokescreen for a speed test and drive out of the base. As you three were in a clear area for the ride, Smokescreen kept on exceeding to the speed limit.
