A Change in Silence | Soundwave x Reader | TFP

Christmas Special pt. 3

The place was crowded, though heading towards the gym to where the actual party is didn't take long for all of you to get to. Though there were some bumps here and there, but other than that, you were all glad that you've all made it there.

"Haven't seen a party like this, since Cybertron." Wheeljack said

"I'll say, this place is packed!" Smokescreen exclaimed

"Kids, What are you waiting for? Go and have fun." Your dad said.

Jack, Raf and Miko started to pull their guardians towards the dance floor, to which they just gave in eventually. Smokescreen, Wheeljack, Knockout and you decided to join in the fun, while Optimus and the rest just watched as you all enjoyed with one another. Your mom took noticed that Soundwave wasn't with you and that he just stayed at his spot as he watched you dance with the kids and the human bots.

"Soundwave." Your mom said

Soundwave only flinched a little when your mom called him. He looked at her, noticing that your mom wasn't the only one curious to why he wasn't with his sparkmate. Soundwave tensed a little bit, even if half of his face was shown, it was visible for anyone.

"Why aren't you with Y/n on the dance floor?" Your mom asked, "I thought you wanted to spend some time with her now that you're both are humans."

Soundwave looked back to where you are and silently sighed before walking out, going outside. Your mother sighed and a slow dance music started to play as everyone paired up. You turned around, only to see that your sparkmate isn't there. You then felt a bit of sadness through the bond as your heart sank, feeling guilty for just leaving your sparkmate alone. You rushed out of the crowd as you burst through the hallway of the gym looking for your sparkmate.

You kept calling his name through the bond and you kept calling him through your voice, but no reply. Tears began to appear through your eyes as you kept searching for him. Silence just filled your ears as you let your tears fall from your eyes, not bothering to wipe it off. You just walked back towards the parking lot and just made your way towards your alt mode. But before you could even reach it, you collapse on the ground as your sobs was all you could hear. The pain in your spark was just filled with guilt and your angry at yourself for not giving your attention to him.

"Soundwave.....(sob) I don't deserve to be yours.....(sob) You deserve someone better than me." You said through the bond. "Someone.....w-who isn't like me...."

Right then, you felt a hand on your shoulder and a finger tip lifted your head. You opened your eyes to see who was in front of you. You saw your sparkmate, Soundwave. He removed his shades, showing his purple eyes in front of your blue ones.

"Sweetspark, you are more than worthy to be my sparkmate." He said as he wipes away your tears.

"No I don't. Ever since we got here, I've barely-" he cut you off by placing a finger on your lips and came closer to your face.

"I felt your guilt, sweetspark. But don't you ever think that you're not worthy of being my sparkmate." He said as he pressed his forehead against yours. "I love you no matter what you're decision is or what you are, as long as it has made you happy, with or without me. You always think of others on how they feel before yours. You never wanted to be the burden of others. You gave up your life for Cybertron and for the planet you were born in and.....I couldn't asked for a greater femme like you to be my sparkmate, Y/n. I love you, sweetspark."

Your spark fluttered after he said that. Without any hesitation, you pressed your lips against his, wrapping your arms around his neck and his around your waist. He kissed you tenderly and lifted one of his hand at the back of your head for support as pressed his lips deeper into the kiss.

Right then, fireworks started to show in the night sky, breaking the kiss as you both looked up at the sky, seeing all the different bright colors in the sky. Soundwave lifted you up as you both stand in the parking lot gazing at the beautiful colors that lit up the sky.

"THAT WAS SO ROMANTIC!!!" Miko's voice was heard at the entrance o fm the school.

The both of you looked back to where the voice came from, but it turns out that there were multiple eyes that were looking at the both of you. Soundwave blushed and immediately looked away, putting on his shades, while you covered your face with your hands.

"How long have you guys been standing there?!" You said

"Long enough, sweetheart." Your dad said.

Bumblebee and Arcee decided to come forward to the both of you, but you stopped them in there tracks.

"Uhh, Y/n, why are you stopping us?" Arcee asked

You pointed up above them with a grin on your face. The humans saw the mistletoe and also began grinning, while the bots are very clueless.

"It is said that if you stand underneath the mistletoe, a new love will be found." Miko said

Bee and Arcee blushed as they looked at each other.

"So.....I guess this is curse." Arcee said

Bee nodded and took a deep breath before cupping Arcee's face in his hands and leaning towards her. Eventually, Bee pressed his lips on hers gently. Arcee kiss back, despite that she didn't care if everyone is looking at them right now. Miko snapped a picture of them before they broke the kiss.

"(chuckles) Merry Christmas everyone!" You exclaimed

Everyone greeted back and gave each other a laugh and a smile. Soon all of you went back to base and turned back in your cybertronian form. Bumblebee was able o give his gift to you, and it was a picture of everyone in team Prime, stored in a data pad. You thanked him and gave him a small kiss in his faceplates. The whole night was just filled with laughter and joy.

The greatest gift that anyone could've have gotten is the love for there families and friends, especially to the ones who are very dear to us.
