Chapter 23: Confused

As you, Optimus, Smokescreen and Bumblebee came back to base, you noticed that the rest haven't come back yet. So you decided to get back on your training with Optimus, since he doesn't seems to be busy. Once you went up to your mentor, he asked that you should practice in meditating to keep your mind and thoughts calm, a way of practice to keep your emotions in check once you're in the field. You agreed and decided to go to the place where you and Soundwave had your *coughs* private activity. Speaking of Soundwave.

"Sounds.....can you hear me?" You said through the bond.

"Yes sweetspark. I can hear you." Soundwave said

"How have you been doing, besides assisting Shockwave and the other decepticons I'm getting the bones?"

"Same as the usual sweetspark. Though I would love to come and see you after the event that took place earlier, but....."

"You're needed in the warship for surveillance, Soundwave. And I need to concentrate on my training with Optimus."

"Training.....with Optimus?"

"Don't take it the wrong way, Sounds, but since he is a Prime, I need to learn how to be one, since I'm also a Prime."

"Oh.....I see....."

"But it doesn't means that my feelings for you will change. After all, it's still me."

"I know sweetspark. I'm just worried that you might get hurt and that I'm gonna be there for you."

"Hey, we have our bond to make sure we feel each other's sparks. You'll now when danger comes between us."

"(chuckles) And you're always worrying about me, which is very sweet of you."

"Thank you, sweetspark."

And with that, you both ended the conversation. As you were about to go to your happy place to meditate, Jack just called through the com link to base, saying that his mom, June and Agent Fowler might be in trouble. You replied back.

"Right, we're on our way." You said, ending the call. "Bee, with me. Ratchet, we need a bridge."

"For what purpose?" Ratchet asked

"June and Agent Fowler might be in trouble. Bridge Jack back here." You said

Ratchet followed your instructions and opened the ground bridge. Jack came through as he ran towards you, worriedly.

"Calm down, Jack. We'll get your mom and Agent Fowler back here safely." You said

"Thanks Y/n." Jack said

"Come on, Bee. Let's rev and roll." You said

With that, you both transformed and drove through the ground bridge.

"Now that's a catch phrase." Smokescreen said.

As you and Bee went through the ground bridge, you both ended up in the parking lot of the museum. You then noticed tire tracks and decided to follow it.

":Y/n?:" Bumblebee said

"Yeah, What is it Bee?" You asked

":Um.....I was.....um.....:" Bee hesitated

"Bee, what's on your mind? You know you can tell me anything." You said

":I wanted to.....to ask you if you wouldn't mind.....uhh.....if you could join me for a ride tomorrow.....just the two of us?:" Bumblebee asked, ":Well, you know.....a-as friends:"
