Chapter 19: Power of the Ancients (Legacy)

Once you and Jack came back to base, you both noticed that Ratchet and Smokescreen were the only once there and that the others are in the field. Right then, a decepticon activity was detected and since the others aren't here, it was only you and Smokescreen to go there. But Smokescreen suggested for back up and that no bot is available but you. Though Ratchet never mentioned a human could come so Jack went with the two of you and entered the ground bridge to the coordinates of the decepticon activity.

"I just pulled a Miko." Jack said, regretting that he came along.

"Smokey, I can't believe you convinced Jack to come along. Arcee's gonna scrap us for bringing him here." You said

"Anyhow, let's just see what's the relic is." Smokescreen said as you three approached near the boulders to see what are they doing.

You noticed that a sword is stuck in the mountain.

"That's a sword." Jack said

"It's not just any sword. It's called the Star Saber. It is said that it only responds to the power of the matrix." Smokescreen explained

"Which means Optimus is the only one who can use it. And judging by how it looks, it was one of the relics the thirteen original Primes, the first Prime himself. Prima." You said

"How did you know about the thirteen Primes?" Smokescreen asked, "I mean, you're a techno organic type of Cybertronian."

"I've been studying about cybertronian history and that Prima was the first Primes that was created by Primus himself. Not to mention that the Star Saber was forge by Solus Prime, even the Apex Amor. Not only that she's the first female Prime to ever exist and the first one to be killed by one of the original Primes." You said,

"Then we have to get it to Optimus." Jack said

"It's not gonna be that simple." You said

"Why?" Smokescreen asked

"Because Megatron is right there." You pointed.

"Why aren't they taking the saber?" Jack asked

"I don't know, but we must get it to Optimus, I'm gonna make him proud." Smokescreen said

"We should call for back up." You said

"You heard what Ratchet said, back up isn't available right now and we can't let the 'cons take the saber." Smokescreen said, "I'm going in, Y/n stay here with Jack."

With that, he went to sneak somewhere to get pass through the decepticons.

"He's not gonna be fine. Jack get somewhere safe and tell Ratchet about the Star Saber and to bring back up. I'm gonna help Smokescreen." You said as you both separated.

You transformed and drove towards the decepticons and transformed back as you use your tentacle cables and grab a con on each and swing them to each decepticons coming towards you. Smokescreen made it to the Saber but it looks like it won't come off. Right then, Megatron grabbed him as he was brought be the decepticon troops. You made you chance to go to the Saber and grabbed its handle and pulled it with all your might. Megatron ordered to pull the mountain from the ground, while you kept your gripped on the handle as you were getting higher and higher.

"Scrap." Was all you can say, but failed to noticed that the Saber faintly glowed.

Right then you saw that Optimus was now heading towards you as he made a giant leap towards the handle. A shot hit him, but it was enough to reached for the handle with you holding it as well. 

"Optimus, I am so sorry." You said apologetically.

Right then the saber responded to the power of the matrix within Optimus as it slipped off the mountain. It was a long fall but you and Optimus were fine.
