Chapter 29: Goodbye for Now

You all walked forward in the room and saw your human family. Your parents ran towards you and you kneeled down at them.

"Sweetheart." Your mom sighed in relief to see you alright.

"Y/n that's one giant dent on your head, are you sure you're alright?" Your dad asked.

"Mom, dad, I'm okay, really I am." You said

Your parents smiled to see that you're okay, but then it dropped when they saw Soundwave next to you. You took a deep vent before speaking.

"I know what you both saw before I was turned into a cybertronian. I can tell it still fears you about it, about him being here next to me." You said with complete concern in your optics. "But I can reassure you both that Soundwave isn't all what he appears to be. (looks at Soundwave) He's a completely different bot than I gave him credit for, not for what he was, but for who he is." You said with complete honesty.

"You really love him don't you." Your mom said, well it was more of a statement than a question.

"Deeply." You said

"Mr. and Mrs. (L/n), I promise that I would take very good care of your daughter." Soundwave said as he raised his servo to his chassis, "With all my spark."

"I know you will, mostly after all this time she has been captured or kidnapped lately." Your dad said

"Y/n!" You heard Rafael calling you as he ran towards you. "It's good to see you're okay. What was that surprise you told me through the comms?" The young boy asked

You offered him your servo and he climb on as you lifted him up as you stood up. "Something you might be happy with hearing." You said.

You looked at Bumblebee, who is still flustered after the sudden kiss from Arcee. You walked over to him, bringing the young boy with you.

"Bee," you called his attention as he looked at you. "How about you show Raf your little surprise for him."

"Hey, Raf." Bumblebee said as he waved his servo to him.

Raf smiled in happiness to finally hear his guardian's real voice. "Your voice sounds great, Bee. I'm glad that I got to finally hear what you sound like." Raf said

"Let's fire up the space bridge." You said.

"Hoo-yeah!" Miko said, "By the way Y/n, can I keep the Apex Armor?" She begged

"I think I'll have to ask Optimus or Ratchet about that." You said putting Raf down, "Though for now, you can."

"Yes!" She squealed.

The space bridge opened up and noticed that it was relocated behind the moon. Clever hiding spot. The warship entered it and brought all of you to Cybertron. All of you saw the lifeless planet in front of you.

"Optimus, I never studied Shockwave's side equation of the cyber matter." Ratchet said, "This might be all we have left."

"Then we must fire the cyber matter, onto Cybertron's very core." Optimus said

"Into the heart of Primus himself?!" Ratchet asked but do not questioned it any longer and just proceeded.

"Commander, we've arrived." Wheeljack said, "At the well of Allsparks."

Everyone stood near the the bridge's controls as they watched on how Cybertron is gonna be restored. Ratchet fired the cyber matter into the well, as it was all used onto the core it took a while, but then blue light shined through the ground/soil of Cybertron, surrounding the planet with new energon. The sun finally rises on the planet after so many years, starting a new start to recovery.

"Ahh, such luster." Knockout said as he crossed his arms and looked at the team. "What I'm joining the winning team."

He then received a smack from Miko. You grinned at the sight and just looked back at planet in front of you. All of you then saw Predaking flying away in the distance. Since he was still a cybertronian, it was best to let him be to recover from his injuries.

"You know, Cybertron looks better with life." Your mom said.

"I agree." You said.

"Though our home May once again support life, we have much rebuilding to do." Optimus said, "A last, we will miss out home away from home.....and the family we made here." He said as he looked to the humans.

"If 'cons are still out there, won't earth be on their radar?" Raf asked

"Raf," Bee said, "if you ever need me, need us for any reason, we're just a space bridge away."

"Besides, we'll take good care of you, Jack and Miko to continue serving Unit E along with the new Prime's parents." Agent Fowler said.

"Whoa, we're Agents?!" Miko asked

"Consultants." June said

"Until you three aged, that is." Your dad said.

"I trust that Unit E requires a rusty old Autobot consultant." Ratchet volunteered.

"Ratchet? You of all-" Arcee was cut off by Ratchet.

"Ep, ep, ep, I know where I am needed." He said

Sometime later, everyone with their guardians started to say goodbye. Soundwave only left you for a second to say goodbye to your parents and the kids. Right now, you were leaning against on the railings as you sensed your parents and the kids went up to you.

"Sweetheart, I guess this is goodbye." You mother choked on a sob as she said that.

"As much as we want you to stay here, we know you couldn't. You belong with them now." Your dad said, struggling to fight the tears from falling.

"I don't wanna leave any of you. (sob) All of you have made a place in my spark that I cannot remove." You said wiping away a tear.

"Y/n, I know it's hard. It's hard for us too." Jack said

"Yeah, we all did had a lot of fun while you were still a human." Raf said, wiping a tear as well.

"Besides, no one can ever replace you." Miko said,

"I'm gonna missed you, all of you. My life as a human may have ended early, but I still cherished every moment of it." You said, "And this is not goodbye, I know we'll see each other one day, even if thing has change for the better."

"That's my girl." Your mother said, "We'll all gonna miss you."

You offered them your servos as you let them climb on and brought them into a hug to your faceplates.

"I'll missed you guys too." You said before letting them back down on the railings.

You carried your Forge and felt a servo on your shoulder plates. Soundwave also looked at the humans who made a great impact in your life.

"Soundwave (sniffs) I trust you take care of her." Your dad said

"With all my spark, mr. (L/n)." Soundwave said, before you two leaving them as you went in front of the ground/space bridge.

"Until we meet again old friend." Optimus said as he and Ratchet shake servos.

You gave your final glance at your human family being entering the space bridge to your new home in Cybertron. Everyone else entered the space bridge and Optimus went in last.
