It was just an apron. It wasn’t a tuxedo nor was it a sexy sleeveless top. It was just a red apron. But Copter had no idea why his heart was beating so fast.

“Where did you get that?” Copter asked and pointed to the apron that Kimmon was wearing.

“I just bought it somewhere.” Kimmon replied as he finished slicing the onions. “Why?”

“Nothing.” Copter murmured in reply.

“It looks good on me, doesn’t it?”

Everything looked good on Kimmon and Copter knew that. There was no point in denying. But for some reason, Copter didn’t want to tell him that. Copter was usually a straightforward person but with his heart acting up, Copter was finding it hard to behave like his usual self.

“What are you doing?” Copter asked as Kimmon placed a hand on his hip and the other on his neck.

“I dunno. This is how models pose, right?” Kimmon replied, making Copter chuckle.

And just when Kimmon was about to get back to his cooking, Copter shouted “Freeze!”

“What? Why?” Surprised Kimmon responded, his hands back on his hip and neck.

“I’m going to take a picture.” Copter said as he reached for his phone in his pocket.

Kimmon smirked and lifted his chin. “I look handsome, don’t I?”

Copter snapped a picture of Kimmon and answered “You look like an idiot, idiot.”

“I don’t believe you.” Kimmon said as he rolled his eyes and finally went back to his cooking.

“Whatever. How long is that gonna take anyway? I’m super hungry.” Copter asked and crossed his arms.

“Fifteen minutes.”

Copter sighed and stood from his seat. Watching Kimmon cook frustrated Copter since it made him feel all funny inside, so he figured he should just watch something else.

Copter walked around the room and saw a desk full of pictures. Most were pictures of Kimmon and Tee. There was a picture of them in their school uniforms, a picture of them wearing their graduation gown, a picture of them on the beach, and two more pictures of them with their arms on each other’s shoulders.

Copter felt his heart twinge. Kimmon and Tee were together almost all of their lives but now everything will change. “He must be a hundred times more heartbroken than me.” Copter whispered under his breath.

Another picture caught Copter’s attention. The only picture that didn’t had Tee on it. The only picture where Kimmon wasn’t smiling. None of them were smiling.

It was a picture of Kimmon with two other men. One was older and one was younger. Copter looked closer and thought that the three had similar features. They were all good-looking.

“Do you have a brother?” Copter asked.

“Nope.”

“Really? Then who are these guys?” Copter asked as he raised the picture.

Kimmon did not even bother to look at Copter and immediately replied “No one.”

Copter’s brows drew together. It was weird. Very weird. But he figured that he shouldn’t poke his nose into Kimmon’s personal matters so Copter immediately shrugged it off.

Copter returned the picture on the desk and went back to Kimmon. “Jeez, are you going to take forever?”

“I’m almost done, little sir.” Kimmon replied.
