This was the second time Kimmon had seen Copter and Tee together in a café. Only this time, they weren’t, as Tee worded it, “gripping wrists”. Tee was just talking (what he was talking about, Kimmon had no idea since he was just observing the two from his car) while sipping on his coffee from time to time.

While the scene might look very harmless from an outsider’s view, every inch of Kimmon’s body felt very bothered. It was because of the way Copter would gaze at Tee. Copter looked at Tee the same way he looked at delicious food. He might as well jump at Tee! Well, Kimmon would pass out then and there if that were to actually happen.

Giving in to jealousy and jumping into conclusions did not work the last time so Kimmon chose to stay at his car and wait for the two to finish. He and Copter would have to talk later.

After a few more minutes of staring and talking and laughing and sipping coffee, Copter and Tee were finally, finally, done. The moment they stood up from their seats, Kimmon immediately got out of his car and walked to the entrance of the café.

“Phi Kim? How long have you been there?” Copter asked as soon as he spotted his boyfriend.

Kimmon glared at Tee which made him groan followed by “Oh my heavens. I know that look on your face. Please don’t tell me you’re jealous of us again. Copter and I were just talking.”

“I was.” Kimmon replied, not breaking eye contact with Tee. “We have to talk.”

“Phi, it’s not what you think. We were talking about… ummm… climate change!” Copter said which didn’t help at all as it only raised more suspicion from Kimmon. Really? Climate change? Copter was smart so there was no doubt he’d have many to say about climate change. But Tee? Kimmon was about to laugh.

Kimmon stared incredulously at Copter for a while. “That was a very obvious lie, Copter. But I’m buying it for now. I’ll have to talk to Tee but it’s about something else. It’ll just be for a while. Please wait in the car.”

“Fine.” His boyfriend replied and earned a muss on his hair from Kimmon before reluctantly walking to Kimmon’s car.

“What do you want to talk about?” Tee asked as soon as Copter had left.

“Tae and May. Nothing happened between the two of them. Tae isn’t that dumb to get back together with May while he’s dating you.”

“So he’ll have to break up with me first.”

“What? No! Tae likes you a lot, okay?”

Tee chuckled weekly. “Yeah… I hope so….”

Kimmon felt his stomach being tied in knots. “I know so.” He replied firmly because if Tae proved him wrong, Tae was not going to see the light of day.

“I trust Tae. I just left the two of them coz I figured they needed to talk alone. You know, for closure. I wasn’t really mad or anything.”

“Tae told me that May just said sorry and shit to everything she’s done to him. But she didn’t ask for another stupid chance or whatever. I would’ve pulled her hair out if she did.”

“You won’t.”

“For you, I will.”

“Oh my god don’t say that! You have a boyfriend! Copter would slit my throat if he heard you!”

Kimmon couldn’t help but make a notably dramatic eyeroll. Tee was his first and best friend so of course he’d get mad if someone hurt him. There was no need for a very exaggerated response. Kimmon just said it out of his platonic love for Tee. Sure he liked Tee before, but that was all in the past. Kimmon’s not a fool to cheat on his cute boyfriend.
