11/9/19

It had been a good few hours, and now Buzz wasn't coming back. Woody and Forky have been missing since sunrise, and they showed no sign of showing up anytime soon. The fact that they had been gone for so long, as well as the fact that Buzz was missing also, raised huge red flags of alarm for all of the toys.

"Come on, Buzz!" Jessie begged quietly to herself, trying to keep calm. "They all should've been back by now!"

Since Buzz was gone too, you figured that maybe Bo wasn't the cause for keeping Woody and Forky away. Maybe something seriously did happen to all three of them! You were starting to feel guilty for not sticking around when Woody went into the store, and for not going with Buzz as backup.

Letting out a defeated sigh, you rose to your feet and slipped your parasol off of your shoulder. "I'm going to look for them."

"Nuh-uh. No way." Dolly said simply. "You're going to stay here."

You glared at her. "Sorry, but you really aren't my boss. If anything, Woody is more qualified to be my leader. We were both Andy's toys, after all." Sending her a wink in hopes of filing her up a bit, you turned towards the window.

"I'm not allowing any more toys to go jumping out the window. Not on my watch." She ran in front of you, crossing her arms as she glared at you, trying to force her authority.

You simply raised a brow in slightly amusement. "Okay." And that was why you climbed your way up to the hatch on the roof of the RV. Dolly only said she didn't want you going out the window. She never said anything against going out via the ceiling hatch.

Since you had no clue where your friends actually were by this point, you kept your plan simple to start off with. Woody and Forky were last seen at the antique shop, and you told Buzz to go in that direction. You would check there first, then formulate a new plan if none of them were there. It was simple. Sneaking through the bustling carnival wasn't hard at all. Sure, there were a lot of wandering eyes, but there were so many rides, attractions, and booths that you were given many opportunities to sneak through the shadows, completely unseen.

To your surprise, you eventually saw Buzz running around near booths. "Buzz!" You cheered as you got closer to him. "Where have you been!?"

"(Y/N)? Why are you out here?" He asked you worriedly. "It's not safe out here!"

"No, really?" You asked sarcastically. "It's been hours, Buzz! We were so worried about you. What held you up?"

"Uh....carnival games." He replied with no emotion. You sent him a baffled look, but you weren't in the mood to question what he really meant. The Space Ranger continued, "Look, I know where Woody is. We gotta hurry, so come on!"

You ran with him through the rest of the carnival, soon coming to the road that divided the fair from the tiny stores on the other side. The antique shop was included in that batch of stores. "It's broad daylight! How are we getting in?" You asked him.

"I saw Woody get onto the roof." Buzz told you. He grabbed your arm and pulled you across the street once the coast was clear. The two of you made your way to the top of a large delivery truck parked outside the store, which helped you jump onto the roof.

But the second you landed on the roof, your face fell as your heart stopped. There, standing right beside Woody, was Bo Peep. No, no this couldn't be real! Bo was really back? You wanted to be happy, but for some reason, you only felt hurt and frustrated. Buzz, however, was obviously happy as a huge grin spread onto his face as he began to run towards the two toys. "Bo Peep!?"

Bo and Woody turned at the sound of the Space Ranger's voice. "Buzz!" She beamed, picking him up in a tight hug while giving him a small shake. "My old moving buddy! It's so good to see you!" As the two rejoiced, you slowly walked closer to them, trying to hide your distaste.
