11/9/19

When you got back to the RV, the sun was already fully visible above the horizon and Bonnie's parents were nowhere in sight. Bonnie, who was still asleep, was locked safely inside. You climbed your way onto the bumper, using the hook of your parasol handle to launch yourself up to the open window that you, Woody, and Forky had jumped out of. Flinging yourself inside, you landed gently on the cushions.

"(Y/N)!" The toys cheered quietly in relief, not forgetting that Bonnie was still fast asleep only a few feet away.

"(Y/N), are you alright?" Buzz asked, running over to you and inspecting your porcelain frame. "No damage or anything?"

Your sour frown was still on your face, but you tried to hide it. "I'm fine." You relied flatly.

"Wait, where's Woody and Forky?" Slinky asked.

"Well, that's the thing...." You started lowly. You wanted to tell them the truth, but since nobody knew for sure whether Bo was actually in that antique shop, you didn't want to get your friends' hopes up. Instead, you told a partial truth. "Woody and Forky got....sidetracked, that's it. They got inside this old antique shop on....accident?"

Thankfully, the toys believed you one hundred percent. "Well, at least they're alright. When will they be back?" Jessie asked you.

"Woody told me to tell you guys that if they don't return soon, then he wants Buzz to go look for him." You turned to the Space Ranger with a forced smile. "Until then, we wait until we believe we shouldn't any longer."

"Does the cowboy always get into this much trouble?" Dolly asked you. "Honestly, it's stressing me out. How is Bonnie going to react about this when she wakes up?"

Buzz turned to her, trying to reassure the toys of the situation. "Don't worry, everyone. We've dealt with these kinds of issues before. No matter what happens, Woody and Forky will be back in this RV before it's too late."

"All we can do is wait." You told them firmly. "If she wakes up and they still aren't back, then we simply have to start a Plan B." And waiting is exactly what you all did. About an hour later, the sun was well over the horizon. The carnival right by the RV park had already started up, and the excited screams of children filled the atmosphere.

"Any sign of Woody?" Slinky asked you and Buzz since the two of you had assigned yourselves the job of keeping lookout.

"I don't see him!" You replied quietly as Bonnie was still asleep.

"Maybe we should have gone with the fork." You heard Jessie mumble in regards to the silver spoon the toys had decided to place in the sleeping child's hand. They figured that if she were tired enough, she would think it was Forky.

Buzz shook his head. "The spoon is safer."

Suddenly, everyone heard Bonnie yawn, so you were all forced to resume your lifeless toy positions. In doing so, the toys made sure they were facing the kid to see her reaction. Rubbing her eyes, they shot open when she realized Forky wasn't in her hand. Instead, a spoon was in his place.

"Forky? Where's Forky?" She panicked, quickly getting upset. "Mom! Dad!"

"What's wrong, honey?" Her father asked as he and his wife burst into the RV. They had been relaxing outside for a while now.

Her mother eyed her worriedly. "Are you okay?"

"I can't find Forky! He's missing!" Bonnie began to sob.

The parents shared a disheartened look as her mother kneeled down besides Bonnie. "Oh, Bonnie, it'll be all right. I'm sure he's here somewhere. You know, if you don't find him, you can make a new one."
