The man quickly came back into the room, as if he knew that the computer dinged. "Let's see what's next to go. What? $2,000 each?!" He freaked out happily. "Jones! Jones, you're not gonna believe this!"
He came over and opened the glass case and removed Woody and Jessie. "Happy trails, Cowboy and Cowgirl....Andy? Weird names. Whatever. It's like taking candy from a baby." You watched in horror as he placed your friends in two different boxes. He then exited the room and left the sealed packages on the counter.
"They'll be able to get out, won't they?" Rex asked worriedly.
"I haven't got the foggiest idea. Pricklepants replies with a sinister chuckle. "What started out as a classic horror film has turned into something more of a tragedy."
"I can't believe we're never gonna see Bonnie again." Trixie frowned.
The computer dinged once more, indicating another sale. The man rushed back into the room. "All right. Come on, big money!" He leaped out of his chair and pulled you out of the case. "Jonesy, Jonesy, we got another gold mine! Looks like you get to go on a little trip."
Someone rang the bell at the front desk, interrupting the man as he went to go talk to the client. You tried to open the case, bu you couldn't reach the handle. You tried to reach it with the help of your umbrella also, but it fell just shy of the handle. "It's no use! I'm not tall enough!"
"Okay. Looks like I'm gonna have to take two trips." A female voice was heard. You looked to see a delivery lady gathering packages. However, just before she left on the first trip, she snagged the boxes holding Woody and Jessie.
"Alright, we need a plan B. Put on your thinking caps, people." Carl demanded.
"I got it!" Buzz declared. "She can make a break for the delivery truck."
"Aw, it's broad daylight. Besides, she'll never make it in time." Potato Head sneered.
"What do I do? Now we're all gonna end up in a box." You began to worry.
"Wait. That's it! (Y/N), say that again!"
"That we're all gonna end up in boxes?"
Carl smirked. "Not us, you. You're gonna get in a box."
"What?" You shrieked in horror.
"Listen," Carl began to console you, "in a few minutes, the delivery lady is gonna come back through that door and take the other boxes, and you're gonna be in one of 'em. It's the only way to free Woody and Jessie!"
"No, I can't? I can't do that! I can't get in a box." You began to sob as a breakdown started. "There's gotta be another way."
"This is the way! You better snap out of it, soldier! We're running out of time, and you're the only chance we've got!" You continued to ramble in panic, unable to focus on Carl's words. "(Y/N), listen to me. Remember your training.
You snapped in fear, "But I don't have any training!"
"Well, forget about that. When Combat Carl gets stuck in a jam, he says to himself, 'Combat Carl never gives up. Combat Carl finds a way.' Now say it!"
"Combat Carl-"
"You're not Combat Carl!"
"Oh!" You exclaimed. "(Y/N) never gives up. (Y/N) finds a way!" You continued to repeat that to yourself, saying it quieter as you began to sneak out of the room. Climbing to the top of the front desk once nobody was watching, you opened one of the boxes. "Wake up! You're free!"
