Chapter 5

Rafaels PoV
After seeing mia leave the bar area I try and buy her a few minutes so she can get out of here, fuck knows what these sick fuckers would of done to her otherwise. Now I understand why she was so terrified. Her own fucking father of all people passing her around to his so called friends. It's sick, she doesn't deserve that. After hearing and seeing what frank was doing to her when we came back in from having a cigarette my anger was about to boil over. She's not his to touch. She was sobbing, begging them not to do something they have obviously done before, she looked so terrified and broken, I need to know what's going on with her and why her fathers doing this to her, I need to help her, she doesn't deserve this, every part of me is yelling at me to help her at any cost. I know there's a big risk that Doug will cross me if I invest with him, I need to play this smart. Everyone starts to leave. And I wait.
"I'm curious, How did your business partner die? And when?" I ask as soon as everyone else has left and it's just me and Doug.
"That's none of your business Rafael, all you need to know is as of the 20th of January, one hundred percent of the business....will be mine" Doug responds with a cynical grin.
"Alright, Well who holds the other fifty percent of the business at the moment then?" I ask watching his reactions closely to my questions.
"Does it matter? They can't do anything with that half of the business, they don't know anything about it anyway" Doug chuckles dryly.
I think over his words for a moment, then another question pops into my mind.
"What about your daughter, what's the deal with her?" I ask cautiously, awaiting his reaction. He almost snarls at the mention of her "what about her? The little whore won't be a problem for me for much longer" he reply's in disgust "she's very obedient, I was looking to sell her in January actually if your interested? After the 20th not before, A few of my friends are interested in buying her. She's not a virgin, the slut gave that away to some little shit in high school, but my boys have been slowly breaking her in, they haven't ruined her completely yet, but they're getting there, she would earn you a good return if you put her on a street corner to turn tricks" he says laughing at his own remarks.
I'm trying my best not to slit this fuckers throat where he stands right now.
My fists clenched at my side I try to keep my cool, he's sick and twisted, fuck knows what he's already put mia through. Mia... he really is fixated on keeping her around for some reason, Why only till the 20th of January? Who owned the other fifty percent of the company before they died? I need to look into this, I need some sort of leverage so he won't screw me over with this deal.....
"I'll think about it, I might want to make a few changes to the contract, just some formalities of course, such as a fee for breaking our contract" I respond dryly, trying to keep my anger from breaking loose and killing the fucker on the spot.
"Of course, although I have no intention of breaking our contract Rafael" he grins.
"I'll be seeing you tomorrow then" I respond as I walk past him and out of the bar to the parking lot.
If my hunch is right then he definitely won't be breaking this contract, especially after I dig deep into him and the company, and Mia.
I get to the black suv with black heavily tinted windows and get into the drivers seat, the others already waiting in the car for me.
"Everything good boss?" Alex asks from the back seat. "It will be" I say back as I put my key in the ignition.
As I look forward out the windshield I see mia walk quickly past the front of the car, then I hear someone scream her name.
"MIA!!" I hear her fathers voice scream. "YOU USELESS WHORE!!" He screams as he approaches her, fast! He slaps her, hard, then shoves her against a parked car in the parking lot. I grip my steering wheel tightly in the pitch black car, my anger increasing by the second. "Raf do we need to do something?" donny whispers next to me, my jaw clenches. "YOU!!! YOU BETTER NOT HAVE RUINED MY WHOLE DEAL!!!" He roars at her loudly then shoved her hard against the car again "IF YOUR FUCKING WHORE OF A MOTHER HAD JUST GIVEN ME HER HALF OF THE COMPANY LIKE SHE WAS MEANT TO!" He roars as he punches her in the ribs. I will kill him. "BUT YOU RUINED EVERYTHING! DIDN'T YOU!!" He bellows and throws her to the ground hard. "Boss he's going to seriously hurt her, I think she needs our help!" Alex says from behind me but before I can pry my death grip off the steering wheel and open my door her father screams "FUCK OFF HOME!! NOWWW! BEFORE I KILL YOU!!" And she takes off running. Doug strides past the car and back to the bar entrance, we watch him till he disappears inside again. "Do you think she's ok? She took a serious punch to the ribs.... she's so helpless and tiny" donnys says quietly, almost at a whisper towards the end. "Let's find out" I grit out as I start the car and peel off out the parking lot to find her, she couldn't of got far.
