"You've gotta be kidding me." Hoseok breathed, tightening his hold against his umbrella as a cold gust of wind channeled its way through the streets. It tousled and tangled through his hair, rain passing underneath his umbrella and landing against his chilled skin. At this stage the grey clouds had fallen even darker, the bright headlights of cars beginning to switch on one by one as the rain transformed from a soft pitter patter into a downpour.
Huddling further underneath his umbrella, Hoseok watched on as Aurora's eyes grew horrifyingly wide, lips parting in absolute disbelief as she turned towards himself and Yoongi. "Oh god, the electric shock!" she bellowed, not caring that she'd shout it at the top of her lungs. This was bad, very bad. Because after each electric shock followed their enemies.
"Shit." Yoongi cursed, sucking in a sharp breath of air as he turned his head in the direction the male had run off in.
Hoseok's jaw went tight, "What do we do... are we gonna have to fight!?" he exclaimed, running a hand through his hair.
Shaking her head repetitively, Aurora began to shiver, not from the cold, but out of pure fear, "No, no, NO!" she muttered, dropping her umbrella to the rain-washed street without a care as she swept her backpack off her shoulders. With clumsy movements, she unzipped her bag, sliding out her phone with urgency and taking it into her hold. With shaky hands, she was quick to unlock the home screen, cursing when the rain drops landing against her screen failed to let her work it properly. Watching the scene, Yoongi was quick to bring his umbrella over her form, allowing for her to work her phone, "We need to stop him!" she bellowed, finding the phone application with sweaty palms.
Hoseok shook his head, "But how!?" he shout, pointing down the street, "He's far gone!"
Gulping, Aurora brushed a strand of wet hair behind her ear, body clad in her now saturated clothing as she began to shiver more violently. Pressing down against a contact number, Aurora looked up with determination, pressing the phone to her ear as it began to ring, "With Seokjin."
Lips parting in realisation, Hoseok knew exactly what Aurora was up to.
After a couple of short rings, the sound of movement came from the other end of the phone line, only causing Aurora to press the phone closer to her ear. Beside her, Yoongi still held the umbrella over her head, half sharing the other with Hoseok as he waited for the plan of action.
Biting down on her lower lip, Aurora's eyes brightened at the voice sounding from the other end of the line. Seokjin,
"Aurora? What's happening-"
"Jin I need you to use your ability!" she shout, not sparing any time for explanations as she cut straight to the point. The hooded male could've run far by now, so she knew she needed to act fast before the Andromedans would show up. Who knew how they'd come about this time, who knew how terrible the battle would be.
"Wait, what? I'll come to you, where-"
"Now's not the time!" Aurora pleaded, "I need you to freeze time for everyone except the elementals!" she shout, clutching the phone tighter in her grasp as she waited for the male's response. The streets were cramped and crowded, people would surely get hurt no doubt.
"You mean-"
Aurora rolled her eyes, "We just bumped into one! He's gonna get attacked, Jin please-"
"You know if I do that, you'll freeze too."
Aurora paused, mouth gaping as she found the right words to say. Pausing the phone conversation, Aurora was quick to shoot a quick glance towards both Hoseok and Yoongi, pondering for a moment before letting her eyes fall back to the pavement. She trusted them, with all her heart she trusted that they knew what they were doing. So sucking in a breath, Aurora closed her eyes, "I trust Yoongi and Hoseok, they're with me now." she paused before she continued with a hint of uncertainty, "They can take care of it."
There was a pause on the other end of the line, "You sure?"
Aurora nod, "Positive."
Jin let out a troublesome sigh, "Alright then, I'll try and track you guys down, until then, I'm freezing time." he finished, granting Aurora with her wish.
She couldn't help but softly smile, "Got it."
"Here it goes."
Dropping her arm down to her side, she loosened her grip on the phone, turning towards Yoongi and Hoseok with a satisfied expression. "It's all up to you."
Eyes widening, Yoongi couldn't help but let his umbrella slip from his grasp, letting it fall to the floor, "Wait, what does that mean!?" he shout, waiting for an explanation, but he never received one. Because as the rain slowed to a standstill, the cars on the road falling to a stop... along with everything else,
Aurora froze.
