Louis P.O.V.
Our concert had just finished, and I was sitting in the dressing room backstage, waiting for us to be able to leave.
My eyes were trained of Lex and Harry. Lex had her head back, laughing at something Harry said. I knew that Lex didn't like Harry, but I wasn't so sure just how much Harry liked Lex. He claimed it wasn't a big deal, but I couldn't help but feel slightly jealous.
Ever since Lex and I had started over about a week ago, things had gone back to normal. Between everyone. But I couldn't help but feel those weird feelings in my gut.
And honestly, there was no spark with Lex. Our love had pretty much fizzled out and died. But that didn't mean I couldn't work to bring it back. I knew I could. I had to.
"Hey Lex," I called. She spun around, flashing that beautiful smile and me.
"Yeah?" she asked. She turned back and said something to Harry before walking over to where I was.
"Why don't we go out tonight? Just us two?" I suggested.
Her grin widened. "That sounds awesome, Louis."

Alexis P.O.V.
I sat at the table across from Louis, playing with the hem of my dress. This date had gone from a good idea to beyond awkward extremely quickly. We just couldn't talk like we used to.
"Do you two want any dessert?" the waitress asked, sliding up to the table with a bounce.
"No!" we both exclaimed, much too quickly.
She furrowed her brow before shrugging and walking away.
I bit my lip, turning to look at Louis, who looked extremely bored.
His eyes moved up to meet mine, and he let out a loud sigh. "Lex, we have to be honest with each other," he muttered.
I nodded.
"Is there honestly a point to this? We're still stringing each other along. I mean, this isn't helping either of us."
I nodded again. "You're right, Louis. This is so pointless. Nothing's changed since we started over, and it's just a matter of time before one of us ends up hurt."
He gave me a sad smile. "Feels like the end of an era, eh?"
I laughed lightly, considerably lightening the mood. "Yeah, it really does."
"So this is it?"
"I guess so."
We fell into silence, both lost in our thoughts.
"We're still friends, right?" Louis asked after handing the waitress the check along with his credit card.
"Of course."
"Good. I don't think I could stand losing you as a friend."
I smiled at him. Louis Tomlinson was my first love, but it was time for us to be just friends. It was over.
"I'll always love you, Alexis."
"I'll always love you too, Louis."
-------
Louis turned his head to face me. "What do you think they'll say?"
I shrugged. We had to tell the boys we'd broken up, but it was a bit of an awkward topic, to say the least.
Louis shrugged too and finally pushed open the door to the tour bus. We both stepped on and into the main interior. We could hear the sounds of video games coming from the back room, so we followed it back there and found all four boys spread across the couches.
