What the magazines say can be false sometimes. It can be completely wrong and shatter the lives of so many people. But it can also be 100% right which can also shatter the lives of so many people. Lucky me, what the magazine said was true. It was heartbreaking.

Me and Brad had been boyfriend and girlfriend for a few years and all my friends had convinced me that he was going to propose soon. But it was obvious he didn't feel the same way. And my friends were completely wrong.

Brad had the complete opposite feelings to me. I loved him, I thought he was perfect and the man I wanted to be with and he didn't feel that way. The magazine showed pictures of him walking into a hotel holding a girls hand and walking out again the next morning wearing exactly the same clothes but with a big smile on his face and the girl on his arm. It made me feel sick thinking about what he could have done in that hotel. I didn't know what to do and I didn't know what to say to him. I lived in Brad's house so I didn't hesitate in packing all my things up and putting them all into my car. I wanted to get as far away as possible.

I wrote him a letter and left it where he would be able to find it.

To the person I thought I loved,

I hope you had a nice time in that hotel with the other girl but I've seen the pictures. It's obvious you don't want me anymore so I'm taking my things and I'm going. Nothing you say or do now is going to stop me from going and I'm definitely not going to come back. You should have thought of the consequences before you happily sauntered into that hotel. Don't try telling me it's not what I think because I've had enough and that was the final straw.

After putting the pen down I walked away from what I thought was my perfect life.

I got in my car and drove away. After driving for about 20 minutes I stopped and pulled over. I went on my phone and booked a one way ticket to Australia...
