I changed the day Connor came into my world. The colour of his hair was one of the reasons I fell for him. It was one of my favourite colours. He wasn't like most people, he stood out from the crowd.

Six weeks later and we're as happy as ever. I always go and see him when he's on his breaks at work, even though he hates it. He works at Bank the clothes shop but he doesn't really fit in.

My friends met him a few days ago and one of them said that I should be careful around boys like him. They can't be trusted. It was a load of rubbish, I am really into Connor, even if he is a bit different.

We were walking in the park one day. It was a normal day, just getting some fresh air with Connor. We seemed to know a lot about each other now. I noticed something from the corner of my eye but it was just a tree when I looked.

We carried on walking and I felt like someone was following me. I turned around but there was no one there. After that, about every 10 steps I was turning around.

"Are you ok?" Connor asked, standing still on the path.

"Yeah, I just feel like someone is following us." I replied.

We carried on walking and I caught someone running behind a tree from the corner of my eye.

I walked off the path and up towards the tree. I was right. That paranoid feeling I had inside was right. One of my close friends was following us. Spying on us. I couldn't believe she would do something like that. She looked as shocked as I was. She just stood there hoping that she would turn invisible. She wasn't going to fool me. I pulled her down onto the path so that my shoes wouldn't get dirty and I made her explain.

"What are you doing?" I shouted.

"Nothing... I... I... Don't want him to hurt you. I care about you and I'm scared that he's going to let you down." She answered.

"Listen, I would never hurt that girl ever, if anything, she's the one that will break my heart if I can't have her or you take her away from me because you don't trust me." Connor shouted.

"I love you and nothing is going to get in the way. Even if your friends don't trust me, you should." He added, taking hold of my hands.

That was the first time he said those three words that almost every girl wishes for.
