The time came that I'd been waiting 9 months for. Brad helped me into the car and drove me straight to hospital. I was in labour.

Brad was so supportive throughout the whole thing and I couldn't have asked for a better husband and birthing partner through the whole experience. Yes, it was painful and I wasn't ready to do it again any time soon but our baby is gorgeous. Before I came into hospital we had already decided two names, one was Ally and the other was Jake. Ally was my favourite though. In the end, we decided to name our baby Ally as we both loved the name.

I was in the hospital a few days but Brad couldn't stay any longer than the visiting times so I really got to bond with my baby. Brad was so nice though. Everyday that he came to visit me in hospital he brought me something. The first day he brought me a teddy bear. The second day he brought me chocolate. The third day he brought me a Starbucks and just the littlest of things made me so happy. I was so happy that Bradley Will Simpson was the man I married.

It came to the day that me and baby Ally could go home. I couldn't stop laughing as Brad tried to work out how the car seat worked. I didn't help him - he needs to learn.  

We eventually got home and Brad had done the finishing touches to the baby's room whilst I was in hospital and it looked so pretty and cute. This was the time that Brad would get to bond with our child and the time that I would get to sleep and recover. I left Ally in the capable hands of Brad and went to bed because I was still absolutely exhausted. When I woke up I saw Brad fast asleep on the sofa with Ally in his arms. It was one of the cutest things I had ever seen. I didn't hesitate in taking picture and putting it straight on Twitter. Everyone went crazy.

He did everything for the next couple of weeks, he did the late night feeds, early morning feeds, absolutely everything for me.

Brad was so helpful and I can't wait to see our little baby Ally grow up.
