The Vamps Preferences

Straight off the plane to a new hotel...

The 'lady and the Vamps' tour had just finished and we were now on a long break in Australia. Just me, my boyfriend (Brad), James, Connor and Tristan. They named the tour after me and the band put together because it's only Brad that has a girlfriend and that's me. So I'm the lady and they're the Vamps. Obviously.

We wanted to take this time as our time. To try and do as little as possible, to not go on social media as often. A complete break from everything. I wasn't the one that needed a break really, it was the boys. But I wanted to have a break were I got to spend quality time with my boyfriend instead of the five minutes here and there that he was off stage. I didn't really enjoy that time anyway because he was all sweaty and smelly. But he did smell good after a shower. I'm just obsessed with his aftershave.

In the time that we had in Australia we didn't want to just sit and do nothing the whole time so one day we planned to go to the zoo. Have a bit of a walk and look at all the cute and peculiar creatures, maybe get an ice cream, catch a bit of a tan and head back to the hotel. That's what I thought, but that didn't happen.

Brad and the boys had pre-booked for us to have quality time with a few of the animals. One of the first things we got really up close and personal with was a crocodile. Connor got his phone out and took a video of it.

"Look Rex, it's your big brother!" He said which recorded onto the video.

We all burst out into fits of laughter when he had stopped recording.

The next animal we got close with was a koala. Me and Brad held it together and James took a picture of the two of us on our phones.

We also got to see and let different animals including: kangaroo, wallaby, porcupine, emu and many more to name.

It was one of the best days I'd had in a while and something that I really wasn't expecting.

As we left the zoo Brad ran off. I didn't know where he went but the other boys were trying to distract me so I just carried on as normal.

I looked through my phone at all the really nice, cute pictures that had been taken throughout the day.

About ten minutes later Brad came back holding a paper bag which he passed to me.

"What's this?" I asked.

"Open it." He replied.

I opened it and pulled out a koala teddy bear.

"It will always remind you of today." He said.
