I am currently on holiday in Spain with the band for a well earned rest. We're in a five star hotel that is gorgeous. There's mainly older people in the resort as it isn't the school holidays so we haven't been recognised by anyone yet.

We were two weeks into our three week holiday and today it was the most popular change over day (lots of people leave but also lots of new people arrive). I had just been to the shop to buy water and snacks and I was heading back up to the pool area through reception. As I walked through someone caught my eye. It was a girl who looked slightly younger than me but she also looked like she had been forced here. It was either that or she had a really bad flight. I carried on walking as she didn't notice me.

A few days had passed and I saw that girl that was in reception quite regularly and the other boys had noticed her too. She was more round Brad's age which worried me. I thought she was gorgeous and stunning. She always came down to the pool in denim shorts and a loose t shirt and underneath she wore a white ruffled bikini.

The other boys might be a lot more confident than me with girls but I just had to do it this time. I couldn't let another gorgeous girl slip through my fingers.

I noticed her walking out of the hotel so I followed to see if I could get my chance to talk to her. She strolled along to the beach and sat on the wall before the sand.

I went and sat next to her.

"Hi I'm Tristan, I'm staying in the same hotel and I was wondering if I could get to know you more." I said.

"I'm sorry I don't talk to strangers." She said.

"I won't be a stranger if you get to know me more." I said.

She started asking me loads of questions like how old am I and where am I from then she started opening up to me.

She told me that her name is Camila and she doesn't live that far away from my home town. The one thing that I absolutely love about her is that she has no idea who I am.

We carried on talking for the rest of the afternoon and we got to learn a lot more about each other. We were both ready to go back to the hotel but I had one more thing that I wanted to ask.

"Do you maybe... Want to... Go for a drink or a meal one night?" I asked.

"Yeah sure." She replied. It felt like a huge weight had been lifted off my shoulders.

"Is tonight ok or do you want to wait a bit?" I said.

"Tonight's fine." She said with a smile.

"Ok I'll meet you here at 7." I said.

Time had passed fast and it was now time for my date with Camila. The waves of sea were nearly silent and the moon was out. I couldn't have wished for a better night!

I had set a little blanket up on the beach on the shore line. The blanket was filled with various fruits and drinks.

She arrived wearing a gorgeous skater dress and sandals. We both said hi and then I walked her down to the blanket that I had set up.

She really appreciated my efforts and we both agreed that we would carry on talking when we got back home.
