They'd just spent the summer months touring America. I watched every single YouTube video, liked every Instagram post, favourited and retweeted every tweet and watched every snapchat that they posted. Most people could do that anyway, but the main difference between me and most people was that I got to text, phone, FaceTime and Skype my boyfriend everyday.

My job didn't allow me to have any time off, so I hadn't seen Brad since the start of July until now but it's almost the end of August. Two months is hard being away from your boyfriend. You never really expect it to be as hard as you think. But it hits you hard! Very hard! The second/third week was the hardest I just constantly cried and moped about. I didn't want to do anything without him. That was the time when he sang me to sleep every night on FaceTime. I seriously don't know what I'd do without my phone, laptop and iPad. It's the only way we've been able to stay in touch. I've missed him like mad and I can't wait for him to get home so that we can carry on being a normal couple.

Today was the day I was meeting him at the airport because he was coming home. I literally screamed as I woke up this morning. This has got to be the happiest I've ever been since he left. I still had a couple of hours before I had to go and meet him at the airport. I went doing some shopping so that there would be enough food in the fridge for his majesty. And then my best friend came over to the apartment that me and Brad shared together. She was going with me to keep me company on our way there. Just before we were about to leave for the airport I got a notification on my phone that Brad had tweeted something.

@thevampsbrad - please don't come and meet us at the airport. We'll organise some meet ups within the next few weeks. We all just want to see all our family and friends with a bit of privacy. I really want to give my Claire Bear a big hug. I hope you all understand, you're the best!x

He's just as excited as I am. Not long after I read the tweet we set off in my car. It wasn't a long journey but it wasn't short. We got to the airport and I couldn't stand still. All my emotions over the past two months had built up inside me and they were finally going to disappear when I'd see my boyfriend. The automatic doors slid oped but the boys didn't come through. They opened over and over again but they weren't anywhere to be seen. I checked the TV screen and it said there flight had landed but I couldn't see them anywhere. I carried on waiting with my eyes glued to the door but time was passing by and they still weren't there.

Someone tapped on my shoulder which startled me.

"Brad!" I shouted and jumped into his arms and wrapped my legs around his waist.

"I've missed you so much." He said.

That was the best feeling in the world. To be able to talk to him without being thousands of miles away.

I just wanted to get home so that the time we were apart would be a distant memory. I took hold of his hand and pulled him out of the airport towards my car.

"What about me?" My best friend shouted.

"Don't worry, we'll take you." I heard James tell her. I'm sure those two had a thing for each other...

It was just so nice to be able to hold his hand and surprisingly the thing I'd missed the most about him was ruffling his brown curly hair!
