Arima Kousei POV:
My head hurt so much when my eyes opened. Unclear memories were filling up my head. The last thing I remember was having been forced to smell some chemicals on a handkerchief and held by a strong man. I fell asleep under his arms automatically that time. As I can't see well right now, the only thing I can see was hazy pictures of my surroundings. I'm not at home or anywhere I'm familiar with. It looked like I am inside a rectangular metal container. "Where am I?"
My body hurts so much while my throat was too dry. My voice is very cracked right now and my breathing seemed to be very labored since I can't take enough oxygen inside the closed container where I ended up in. At the time I tried to move my body, it was when I became aware of the chains that was placed around my neck, wrists, and ankles.
"Anyone!" I screamed. "Help!"
The metal container's door opened and that was when I saw two people approach me.
"Please release me," I cried out. "I can't move!"
"He's awake already," the man said to his female companion. "What do we do?"
"Get him to sleep, again," she told him. "He had to be here as long as we can keep him here."
"Yes, ma'am."
Tears spread over my eyes when I realized that I wasn't having nightmares. I was seriously kidnapped and I can't move at all.
I tried to struggle from the chains but I was wasting my time. I can't even take off the chains out. I'm only hurting myself. I tried to scream more as consciousness returned to me but they didn't even allow me to totally wake up completely. They injected me with tranquilizers immediately and I knew that I was only awake for a few seconds. As my heart slow down, my eyes closed. I was back in my world of dreams. I don't know how long had passed by but when my eyes had reopened, I already have eyeglasses on but my lips were sealed with masking tapes. I tried to take it off but I was suddenly stopped by a tall, slim woman before me who pointed a cold gun on my forehead.
"Boss wouldn't want you to remove those masking tapes."
My hands trembled upon seeing her intimidating aura. Fear enveloped me completely just by the sight of her fiery, green eyes. Those were contact lenses. I'm sure of it. Moments later, I saw another man enter the container van. He's very old, his hair is white but he looked like a fine businessman wearing a suit. Who is he? Why did they kidnap me? What am I to them?
"Killing the boy isn't what we're after. It will only happen if his father doesn't obey any of our conditions," he told her. "Don't do anything rash and risky, August."
"June... Ahhh... Finally... You're here," she answered him. "I don't want my red dress to be stained by young blood after all."
August?
June?
Are those their real names?
No.
Possibly not.
Those were only code names. They won't call each other through their real names.
"The Tokyo Police failed to protect him," he chuckled as he kicks my abdomen. I gasped in pain and whimpered. "They already knew we're going to attack the East Japan Piano Competition to take him and capture him but they still failed to save this young boy!!"
"Boss will be so happy to see his shipment!" the female with whom I heard was named 'August' told him. She slapped me and held my sweaty hair tight. "June, the first mission that Boss gave us is successful. Our initiation is complete!"
Initiation?
Kidnapping me was their way to get inside that organization?
