Seto Hiroko POV:

Arima Kousei woke up in my car from getting tranquilized while we were on the way to Kuroshi's mansion in Las Vegas. I don't know why he remained silent after five minutes of waking up and he didn't even squirm and ask me where we're going, so, as much as I want him to talk first while he was at the passenger seat of my car, I knew that I have to break the silence.

"What is going on, Kousei?" I asked him. "Can't you tell me why you were drinking a lot of wine last night?"

Kousei gripped his black shirt tight. "You won't want to know what's going on, but if you insist, why don't you ask September? He might tell you what's going on."

"My husband won't tell me what's going on, too. He was just telling me that Jupiter wants you to be far away from here," I replied to him. "I just want to believe that maybe there's something that I can do to help you."

"Are you sure you want to help me? Hiroko-san, as much as I want to tell you, there are things that I need to keep to myself! I hope you do try to understand that! I can't always tell you my problems!" Kousei shouted at me. "I don't want to place you in danger, Hiroko-san! If you know what's currently going on, you'll not just endanger me but the whole organization! As far as I can see, my uncle didn't ask if I want to become a spy agent like him! He took me as his revenge on his father! I won't have a destroyed future if he let me live in Japan in peace!!!"

At that time, we have already arrived in front of Ashworth Garden in the Ashworth Estate and that's where I chose to stop my car and park it. I won't be disrespected by the boy I took care of longer than my daughter who's a teenager now!

"Get out of the car, Kousei! Leave my car!" I said as I take my seatbelts off. "Go! I want to talk to you outside!"

He opened the car on his own that time and sighed heavily. I'm sure that what's going on's difficult for him but I hate it when he was trying to keep his problems to himself. I'm still his piano mentor and guardian no matter what. Most of all, I'm one of those people raising him in a perilous environment. I can't walk on a dark road where the men I'm with were placing themselves in danger! He's just a child currently and I don't know what I will feel if he's placed in danger!

...

Moments later after we arrived in the garden that's only a few kilometers away from The Eye Organization Mansion in Las Vegas, Nevada, Kousei sat on a stone stool. He continued to just sigh heavily in front of me as if he still wanted to keep a lot of secrets away from me. I know that he's a young man but he's still a kid to me. For God's sake, he's just twenty-one! He should be enjoying his childhood!!!

"Tell me what's going on, Kousei!" I screamed at him. "You need to tell me! Answer me!"

He glared at me. "Do you really want to know? I wanted to hide it from you because of a good reason but if you really want to know, I'll have no choice but to tell you."

He's in pain and that is very much obvious to me and as someone who truly cares for his life, he can't just hide anything else away from me. Anger has set into me and I held his collar tightly that time.

"You think you're stronger than me because you have killed people now as a spy of your uncle and a member of an American syndicate are you? You're wrong! Do you know how Hiroyuki and I met? We met when I was a Japanese Spy. I was spying on the Russians long ago but your mother told me to stop and hired me to teach you piano!"

Kousei's eyes widened out in surprise, and I slowly felt terribly sorry when I saw him cry so bitterly on my shoulders. "Seto Hiroko, as much as I want to tell you- I don't want you to be in danger, or do anything that will place you in danger!"

"Okay. I promise that I wouldn't do anything that will place me in danger."

Kousei took a very deep breath and dried his tears to answer me. He also did his best to calm down. It's very obvious to him that he's hiding a huge problem and he had to let it go. I hope he chooses to trust me.

"Watari Ryota betrayed me, Hiroko-san, and if it keeps up, I might do something against him to stop him from discovering what 'The Eye Organization' truly is! My uncle won't have mercy on him. He will get killed to prevent CIA's secrets, and if I want to protect him, and the organization, I'll have to frame him so he can get arrested," he sobbed. "Why are we onto him? He sided with my uncle's casino archenemy, and what he's doing right now is putting himself in a very violent situation. My father and my uncle wanted me to stay away now after they've discovered that Valentine Gunns wanted to know the secrets that we keep in our organization!"

My mouth just went agape after he had informed me about his problems. It's no wonder now why I found him drinking. Still, Kousei's a child. He's too young to be in a very difficult situation. "Was there anything I can do, Kousei?"

"Please tell my guardians that I don't want to leave and go back to Japan," he told me. "I want to proceed with the deal we have."

I nodded in understanding. "Alright. I'll try to persuade them."

"Thank you, Hiroko-san," he replied to me. "Forgive me if I acted rude to you today. I didn't mean to act this way."

"Don't worry, Kousei. It's nothing that you should say sorry for after everything that you had told me. I believe you thought I'll go to Ryota and scream at him, correct?" I chuckled. "What's going on currently was a bigger challenge for you as you're not against a stranger. You're up against your best friend, and I understand now why you don't actually want to tell me."

Kousei nodded. "Yes, Hiroko-san. I was merely protecting you away from panicking. Please, don't talk to him."

I walked a few meters away from him, and sighed heavily, too. I don't even know if Ryota could really betray his own best friend by siding with Valentine Gunns. I knew him too, thanks to Hiroyuki, and as far as I remember, my husband never liked him.

"Don't bottle up your problems to yourself," I suggested to him. "Try to share it with others."
