Arima Kousei POV:
Days had passed through already while I was still very much stuck inside the container van.
The feeling of the cold chains on my neck, wrists, and ankles had become too normal now. Even if they were really making me eat marijuana that makes me so high and forget that I am with them, they were feeding me porridge and water. I kept on waiting and waiting but he hasn't been coming to rescue me.
"The boy's getting weak for days now," spoke June. "His father doesn't even contact us, too."
"I can't keep Boss from waiting," Cassiopeia told him while she takes off the chains on my neck, wrists, and ankles. "I'll have to give this boy to him."
"Why does he want that boy?" August asked him while Cassiopeia make some of his men carry me. "Is there any reason why?"
"Boss and Takahiko are related," she told him. "You helped him get his revenge against his father. He hated his father but he can't believe that he had to steal that man's grandson to make them feel his pain."
My eyes widened and I struggled to move away but the two stronger men holding me tightened their hold. "Who are you talking about? Dad is an only child!"
Cassiopeia laughed at me. "Is that what you think? So, does it mean your father never told you about his half-brother?"
"Half- brother?" I asked as his men were tightening the ropes on my back. "I don't know any half-brother."
"Of course, he won't," she said to me as she made me drink some kind of mild drug on my mouth while I was held tight by his men. "His mother's parents are gang members. The Arima Family is ashamed of them."
As I was passing out on the cold floor of the container van, I felt them drag me out of it and carry me inside the trunk of a car. I closed my eyes inside as I was slowly dozing off.
That was when I heard police coming in a distance away from us while I am stuck inside the back of a car. My tears fall off my eyes as I realize that that the people who had held me knew that there would be police coming in to rescue me.
"Dad! I want to go home!" I cried out inside the suffocating box. "How long will I be here?"
...
Ice cold water was thrown on me when I was woken up. I kept hearing foreign words around me. That was when I realized that I was chained again but I'm not inside the container van already. Now, it looks like I'm inside a huge warehouse.
"I know you're disappointed that we took you with us to escape," he said to me. "The ship had already left before the police could ever get there."
"I'm still here," I croaked. "Why keep me here?"
"Cassiopeia and August left me to be in charge with you while they go to Las Vegas, Nevada," she said to me. "Boss will be here soon. He'll take you to Las Vegas. He has other plans for you."
"I don't want to be with him!" I shouted. "I want to go home!"
"I could have killed you long ago to shut you up and give you to your father but I would be the dead one if I do something to you!" he screamed at me. "Boss and you are related!"
He seemed so high right now and it seemed he had some kind of strange happiness after he had smoked it. He also passed cocaine at me and I immediately used it after he lit it up.
Since he had made me smoke it, by just a few minutes, I felt as if I was on top of the clouds.
The pleasure was so intense that even while I was chained again, I kept putting it on my mouth to keep myself high. I know that what I was doing was dangerous but I can't help but love it as it was making me forget that I am in life and death situation. I only became aware that the cocaine wasn't on my right hand already when a middle-aged man that looked like my father was pouring water down my mouth. He wasn't giving me mineral water as I can taste its metallic and earthy taste. It's just tap water but I was already thankful for it.
"I'll take him to Las Vegas, Nevada," he told them. "He's mine now."
"What about the three hundred million yen, sir?" he asked him. "Do we not really need it anymore?"
I whimpered in pain when he slapped me. "Tell him he's dead. They won't believe it but I want you to say that to them."
"Yes, sir," he answered him. "Should I carry him for you?"
"No. I'll take this child on my private plane on my own," he answered him.
