I Ship Cake Don't You?

"How could you guys be such idiots we could be in jeopardy of loosing our band!" Ashton yelled in the backseat of his car with Luke driving in the front.

"To be honest Ashton we do have a good chance of winning." Michael pointed out.

"Have you heard The Vamps they're flippin amazing, I can't... this is becoming too much I-I-" Ashton started rambling as he ran his fingers through his curly light brown hair.

"Ashton just calm down!" Calum said.

"No I will not calm down, GAAHH ya'll are such pains in my ass."

"I know what can calm him down." Michael whispered to Calum. "Lucas put the song on."

Luke smirked "Way ahead of you dude." Luke scrolled down Ashton's iPod and played A Thousand Miles.

Ashton's eyes widen as he stared down at Michael in the passenger side smirking at him.

"I'm not going to sing." Ashton said as he crossed his arms.

Michael wiggled his eyebrows. "Come on Ashton.. you know you want to."

"No."

"Yes."

"I hate you."

"Love you too buddy."

Ashton shut his eyes. Fuck here comes the chorus he thought.

Calum giggled. "Oh my gosh!"

Ashton's eyes shot open and he smiled singing along to the lyrics.

Making my way downtown

Walking fast faces past

And I'm home bound

Calum covered his mouth with his hand trying not laugh.

Ashton shaked his head repeatedly like Terry Crews. "And I need you."

Michael pulled out his phone and shot Ashton on camera.

"And now I wonder." Ashton sanged as he tapped his finger on his forehead.

Calum walked down the school hallways to find Luke being slammed into a locker by Nico the school bully.

Calum dumped his backpack on the floor and rushed over to where Luke was. He later then trackled Nico to the ground punching him in the face.

"Fuck you!" Nico yelled out as he flipped both over having him on top. He punch Calum in the stomach having him groan in pain.

Calum did an attempt of slapping Nico but was cut off by Nico punching him by his chin.

The crowd oohed and Luke sat on the floor holding his knees shakily.

Nico stood up and grabbed Calum by his shirt and threw him against a locker.

Calum slided down the locker laying on the floor breathing heavily.

"That'll teach you to never mess with Nico, and stay on the ground." He walked towards Calum and kicked him on the side.

"Why don't you pick on someone on your own size jackass!" Luke called out.

Luke couldn't take it. He stood up ran up to Nico and jumped on his back.

"Get the hell off me!"

Calum stood up carefully and walked up to Nico slowly.

"What the hell are you going to do punk?" Nico questioned.

Calum kicked Nico in the balls and watched him drop Luke and collapsed on the floor groaning.

Luke walked into the Nurse's office to find Calum laying down in the bed with his eyes closed.

"Watch him for a while okay, sweetheart?"

Luke nodded at Nurse Franklin and watched her leave the room. He sighed and took a seat next to the bed Calum was in.

Luke stared at Calum for a minute and pushed away a streak of Calum and watched him sleep peacefully.

Calum's eyes flickered.

"Hi." Luke said softly.

Calum gave out a soft smile. "Hey." He replied.

"You alright?" Luke asked.

Calum nodded. "I thought you left by now."

Luke shook his head. "I'm not going anywhere I just want to be with you right now."

Calum smiled. "And I just wanted to say thank you for saving me today that was sweet." Luke added.

"I'd do anything for you Luke." Calum said.

"Would you kiss me?" Luke asked.

"If it's what you want."

Luke nodded. "It's what I want."

Calum smiled. "Then I accept."

He then leaned in a kissed Luke's soft lips. Luke smiled through the kiss and moved in a little closer.

"Alright Calum you can go home and oh my-" Nurse Franklin stopped in her tracks as she watched Luke and Calum pull away quickly.

"Way to ruin the moment." Luke mumbled.

"I am sorry to interrupt boys but I just wanted to inform you that you can leave Calum." She said.

Calum nodded. "Alright, thank you for your help."

She noddes and headed out of the door leaving both boys alone.

"Alright, I'll drive you home Cal." Luke stood up from his chair.

"Hey Luke?" Calum called out.

Luke turned around what "Yeah?"

Calum pulled in closer to give Luke a quick kiss.

Luke pulled away and smiled. "Calum- wait what's your middle name?"

"Thomas."

"Will you CALUM THOMAS HOOD like to go on a date with me friday night?" Luke asked as rubbed his thumb on Calum's hand.

Calum laughed. "It's a date."
