The new dad in town

What ifs

Just letting u know this chapters quite short but I'll release the next one in the next few days :)
Also I've started writing my new story, it's going to be loosely based around my favourite film and it should be out in the next few weeks :)
Joe POV
I was shocked.
My girlfriend was pregnant.
I was going to be a dad.
Again.
And this time, I was going to experience it all.
The first bit of movement.
The first kick.
The birth.
Cutting the chord.
I was going to do it all.
I needed to make sure dianne and this baby had all they needed throughout these 9months.
"Joe, are you happy?"
"Am I happy!, of course I am you wally!!, we're having a baby!!, Dianne Buswell you are having my baby!!"
I pick her up and spin her round before going into panic mode
"Oh gosh shouldn't have done that, are you ok, is little one ok? I'm so sorry I shouldn't have done that!!"
"Joe chill out, I'm fine, they're fine, I love you but chill out bub I can't be coping with this for the next 7months!"
"7 I thought women are pregnant for 9?"
"Yes you idiot but I'm already 9weeks joe! I'm surprised you didn't notice?"
She lifts up her top and reveals a small stomach which could be mistaken for bloating but now I know that my child is in there I can't believe I hadn't realised sooner! She places my hand on to her bare stomach and we stay like this for several minutes, gazing at her slightly round stomach then back into each other's eyes.
"I can't believe I'm going to be a mum joe, I mean I know I technically already am one, but I'm going to have to raise a baby. I'm having to carry it for 9months, then bring it into the world! That's mental! What if they don't like me, what if I'm not a good mum, what if india starts to resent me, what if I love one child more than the other what if-"
I cut her of by kissing her passionately, I needed a way to shut her up without verbally telling it to her as I knew they'd be no getting through to her.
"You dianne Buswell, are going to be an amazing mum. He or she will love you more than anything and you will love them just as much if not more. You are incredible with India as well as being able to control a whole class of 4year olds, and I can assure you India will not resent them or you. Yes she may be shocked or confused at first but it doesn't mean she won't love you"
"You always know what to say don't you!"
"I know a lot of things Buswell" I say raising my eyebrow
"Your a nightmare sugg, this is how we got in this position in the first place!"
"Well I'm sorry Im irresistable! Anyway there's no way you can be impregnated for a second time sooo??"
"Just shut up and kiss me Joseph"
