Castiel had never cried that much with anyone before... Anyone other than Y./N that is. Gabriel was there for him when no one else was, when no one else cared to be. His brother had been facing the same loss and knew exactly what Castiel was going through. The raven-haired man couldn't remember going home that night, yet he had and he had ended up in his mother's arms.

She reassured him that everything would be alright along with Lucifer. And for the first time in a long time he believed someone other than Y/N... And to him this meant everything. This meant finally getting over the past. However whenever he came close he always seemed to get pushed back to the start.

His room seemed the same as how he remembered, although with much less in it. The raven-haired man could be found staring up at the ceiling from his bed deep in thought. It reminded him for once not about the bad thoughts yet the good ones.

The memories of Y/N sleeping over, and snaking in his window- Or snaking in when he was grounded. A smile formed across his lips at the thought when he wiped the tears away he remembers it so well. Then the dya his favorite flannel was ruined came back although that day also gave him his most prized possession in this room.

For once Castiel didn't think about anything for a second his mind went blank and then it returned when he was their initials carved into the wall beside his nightstand. His tears had then been brought back thus he remembered the promise she had said with it something that has long gone been broken.

A promise that not only had gone on to be broken yet let him be broken as well.

"What the hell am I supposed to do now?" Castiel questioned running fingers through his hair yet just like that he had been taken aback into another memory another thing that had gone wrong in his life.

Another thing that reminded him of how broken he really is.

"What the-" Castiel couldn't get out the rest whilst his eyes locked with Y/N's who came out from beside the school.

"Answer me... Don't I have the right to kiss my girlfriend?" Azazel questioned his voice deep and terrifying.

Back then Castiel wouldn't be caught dead around Azazel however now he really wanted to see what happened to the school bully.

"I-I you're... You-" Caswtiel couldn't make out words whilst his stutter and tears got the best of him.

Azazel balled up a fist of the blue-eyed man flannel pulling his victim closer so that Castiel has to look him in the eyes, so that he would be an easier target as well.

"I-I didn't know you guys were a couple," He tried to explain wanting so desperately to get out of this situation knowing fully well that Azazel wasn't going to let him off that easily.

"Well now you know," The bully explained through a smirk thus the blue-eyed man saw Y/N spread over her boyfriend's shoulder.

"You know what Azazel maybe we should just go..." Y/N urged place a hand on his shoulder, although he shrugged off her touch.

"Why the hell would I do that?" The bully questioned though a smirk.

"Azazel..." However before Y/N could get out the rest he had cut her off by shoving Castiel away.

Castiel quickly came to the realization of what had just happened, although when he tried to snatch the fabric back in the slight chance of salvaging his flannel he didn't succeed. The person who did succeed though is Azazel.

Once two figures held Castiel back he began to panic knowing fully well what was about to happen. A punch in the gut caught him by surprise causing the wind to become knocked out of him.

"Now we're going to pay little Castiel here a lesson," The bully explained through a large grin.

That day Castiel had been beaten to a pulped no one around to stop them... No one except Y/N. They didn't stop beating Castiel though no that was just the beginning. Azazel called over someone, probably one of his friends with a big bucket of pink paint... And that was when it hit Castiel that this that his must've been planned. There is no way in hell his friend would be carrying around pink paint.

However, it had been too late as the pain had then been dumped upon the blue-eyed man covering all of his clothes, his favorite jeans and hair in the thick substance. Tears brimmed his eyes whilst he didn't know if it was out of sadness or the way the paint burned his eyes.

His skin sticky and his eyes unable to stop burning nonetheless see through his teas thus that didn't seem to stop the bullies from laughing... Laughing so loudly and over dramatically that it seemed like the fakest thing in the world and yet... yet they didn't care.

Although Castiel didn't stay that long, he didn't stay for even a minute of it. Whilst they were laughing the hand let go of him Castiel bolted toward the way of his house never stopping or looking back until he got there however one thing stood out in his mind.

Y/N never denied that she was dating Azazel.

Once Castiel finally made it through the door he burst in, not waiting for a second before bursting into loud sobs. Sobs that surely could be heard from down the street, his face and lungs burned more than likely with bruises however he was too sad to give a damn. The raven-haired man never wanted to return there, never wanted to see any of them ever again... However he had to.

It was dead silent in his house, the raven-haired man just assumed that he was home alone although that ceased to be the case. Tear after tear escaped his eyes whilst he didn't give a damn about keeping his feelings inside. He didn't give a damn what anyone else thought... What anyone else would do to him.

"Cas?" Someone questioned whilst the wood floors creaked beneath them.

The sobbing man who now had his knees up to his chest and back to the door stared at the man in front of him through shock. His red and puffy eyes wide, and his cheeks tear stained.

"Cas what's going on?" His father questioned crouching down to the side of his son, however Castiel just stared at him unable to form words. "Please talk to me," Chuck sat down beside his son unable to form words himself when Castiel crawled into his arms sobbing into his chest like he used to do as a kid whilst gripping him firmly afraid that he might leave.

"It's alright I'm here... I'm here son it's going to be alright," His father reassured rubbing circles on his back in an attempt to soothe him.

It took nearly an hour for Castiel to calm down and for the sobs to leave his body. "I actually brought you something today," His father spoke up once the tears left his sons eyes.

"R-Really?" His son questioned looking up at his father his voice cracking as he did so.

"Yeah it's in your room come on," His father urged him to stand whilst they stretched before continuing to Castiel's room. "I thought you would like it for winter,"

"A trench coat? Dad... I love it," His son beamed through a wide grin hugging his father tightly never wanting to let go of the man that loved him so deeply.

Once they were done hugging Castiel went to slip on the coat although his father stopped him. "Why don't I get you fixed up and make you some food so that you won't get anything on it eh?" Castiel nodded not knowing it then yet this trench coat would become his world.
