"Come on!" Steve yelled running trough the rain with me following close behind him. We entered Colonel Philips' tent. "Colonel Philips." Steve spoke up, me and Peggy standing behind him. "Well, if it isn't the Star-Spangled Man With A Plan.", he looked at me, "and woman. What is your plan today?". I pushed past Steve: "We need the casualty list from Azzano.". Phillip's face was stern, he wasn't happy with my attitude: "Listen up little lady, you don't get to give me orders." I clenched my fists and narrowed my eyes at him. Steve placed a hand on my shoulder: "Look we just need one name, Sergeant James Barnes from the 107th". Philips pointed at Peggy: "you and I are gonna have a conversation later that you won't enjoy." Steve spoke up again: "Please tell me if he's alive, sir." I was losing my patience: "in case you don't know it's B-A-R..." Philips cut me off: "I can spell.". He stayed quiet after that. I looked at him and raised an eyebrow: "so?". He looked down for a second, then he got up: "I have signed more of these condolence letters today than I would care to count. But, the name does sound familiar. I'm sorry.".

I looked down as my eyes filled with tears. Steve looked down and stayed quiet for a little bit: "what about the others? Are you planning a rescue mission?". Colonel Philips looked at me: "yeah it's called winning the war." I couldn't believe my ears. He wasn't planning on saving the rest. He wanted to let them die out there. I looked up at him and took a step closer: "But sir if you know where they are, why not at least-..." but I couldn't finish my sentence. Colonel Philips cut me off: "They're 30 miles behind the lines trough some of the most heavily fortified territory in Europe. We'd lose more men than we'd save. But I don't expect you 2 to understand that." I clenched my jaw. "I understand just fine." Steve replied. "Well, then understand it somewhere else." was colonel Philips' reply and with that, he walked off. "If I read the posters correctly, you got someplace to be in 30minutes.". "You're damn right." I spat and I walked off,

I went back to the tent where we kept all the costumes and stuff. Steve came in a little bit later: "I think we have the same idea." he spoke up. "I'm not gonna let these men die out there Steve. Bucky may still be alive and I'll be damned if I leave him there to die." Peggy walked in right at that moment: "What do you plan to do, walk to Austria?". I kept grabbing my stuff: "If I have to I will." Steve nodded in agreement. Peggy came closer: "you heard the Colonel. Your friend is most likely dead.". Steve looked at her: "you don't know that.". "Even so, he's devising a strategy. If he detects-" I cut Peggy off: "By the time he's done that, it could be too late!". Steve and I grabbed our bags and walked outside. "Steve!" Peggy followed us.

Steve and I threw our bags in the trunk of a jeep. Steve looked at Peggy for a while before asking: "You told me you thought we were meant for more than this. Did you mean that?". I glanced up at her and she looked at both of us: "Every word." "Then you got to let us go" Steve said as we got in the jeep. Peggy ran up to his side: "I can do more than that."

Before we knew it we were up in the air. I had never been on a plane before. My heart was pounding and I couldn't stop fidgeting with my hands. On top of that Howard Stark is flying the plane, which made me even more nervous. I didn't really know him, but I remembered what happened with his flying car. Yeah...

"Hey you okay?". Steve pulled me from my thoughts by placing his hand on mine. I nodded: "Just, never been on a plane before." I gave him a nervous smile. Peggy cleared her throat and Steve pulled his hand back. I felt my cheecks turn slightly red. "The Hydra camp is in Krausberg, tucked between these two mountain ranges.", she pointed at a map, "it's a factory of some kind.". Howard looked back: "We should be able to drop you right on the doorstep." Steve and I put our helmet on: "Just get us as close as you can." Peggys eyes were focused on Steve. He looked up at her: "You two are gonna be in a lot of trouble when you land.". Peggys eyes widened a bit: "and you 2 wont?" I smiled a little while looking at my hands: "where we're going, if anybody yells at us, we can just shoot them if we want to.". In the corner of my eye I could see Peggy shake her head: "And they will undoubtedly shoot back Y/N". "Yeah well, let's hope it's good for something." Steve tapped his shield.

I put on my gloves and strapped the parachute to my back. "If we're not in too much of a hurry," Steve, Peggy and I looked at Howard, "I thought we could stop off in Lucerne for a late-night fondue." Peggy took a deep breath and looked down. Eventually she spoke up again: "Stark is the best civilian pilot I've ever seen. He's mad enough to brave this airspace. We're Lucky to have him." Steve put on his gloves: "So are you two- do you ". He waved his finger a little bit: "fondue?". I smiled a little, he was so adorable. Peggy ignored his comment and handed him a transponder: "This is your transponder. Activate it when you're ready and the signal will lead us straight to you." Steve raised the transponder and looked at Howard: "Are you sure this thing works?". I bit my bottom lip to stiffle a laugh, which caused Peggy to look at me. "It's been tested more than you 2, pal."

Suddenly there was a bang and flashes of light could be seen around us. Bullet's bounced of the plane. Explosions could be heard and the plane started shaking. They were shooting at us. Steve and I looked at eachother and we got up, so did Peggy: "Get back here! We're taking you all the way in!". Steve sat in the door opening and I was standing right behind him: "As soon as we're clear, you turn this thing around and get the hell out of here!". Peggy wasn't happy: "You can't give me orders!" Steve looked at her: "The hell I can't! I'm a Captain!". He put his glasses on and jumped out of the plane. "Don't worry, we'll keep eachother safe." and with that, I jumped out after Steve into the rain of bullets and explosions.
