Strangled

DEAL
“What! How could you say that Hameed?
He knew this was bound to happen she was going to be stubborn and act against his wish “ can't you see we were doing just fine together me and you and this thing in your stomach will put a bridge between us once it's born, you'll forget me and dedicate all of your time to this child ” he uttered “Hameed are you out of your mind?  Can you listen to yourself talk? This is a blessing from Allah to us and you want me to just throw it away just because of your foolish idea of jealousy? How can you be jealous of your own child?
Did you even think that if your parents were to do the same to you,  would you have been here to say this to my face? ” she was hurt, deeply hurt how could he even think of such? This was the most shocking thing she's ever heard or witnessed. “Listen to me,  I'm not ready to be a father, I'm still young and I don't think I'll be a father to be proud of ” he was bent on making her change her mind
“I'm not removing this baby and you know what? This conversation is over. ”
She prayed until she could no longer carry herself if this was what her life would turn into she wouldn't have done what she did,  she couldn't live with this forever.  It's too heavy a burden.

A knock on the door made her open her eyes, she didn't know when she slept  off,  Hameed walks in with a try of food and placed it In front of her, “ you should eat”  she frowned and looked away. “take your food away, I don't want to see you ” she replied “ I know you're still mad at me,  but you have to eat ” he left the food there and slammed the door behind him.  Jalilah was angry, just when she thought he had realised his mistakes and was going to apologize to her and now this?
She strolls downstairs for a cup of water,and she sees Hameed watching a movie “aren't we having dinner tonight? He asked, making sure that he doesn't Make eye contact.“I'm just feeling sick and sore all over” she replied “well how about we eat out,  I know a fancy restaurant in town and I heard they have nice food .” he watched as she nods “I'll just go upstairs and change ” she was down almost immediately and they made their way out. The tension was way beyond too much as the car ride was a silent one each of them battling with their inner thoughts. They arrived few minutes later and ordered some food ate and left.
   “Do you have a moment for a word or two? Hameed asked “ I guess” she answered while sitting down on the couch. “I just want you to think about what I've said,  if we keep this baby ......” he was interrupted “as for the baby there's no going back on my words,  I'm not changing my mind ”  she replied her face hard. Anything that's has to do with this baby easily riles her up, she vowed to do anything she could to protect her flower.
  “I've thought about this long and hard and I suggest you stick to my orders ” was he this heartless,  planning to ambush an innocent child before it  even sees the light of day? “I'll keep this child, don't worry I'll relieve you of your duties as its father, I'm willing to take care of this child alone.” she can't believe she just said this,  it was obvious she was doing everything she could to render protection.  She was willing to take care of her baby even if she has to do it alone hoping and praying Hameed comes back to his senses and   do the right thing .
“Deal then.  But don't ever let this thing you're carrying in your stomach come in between your duties as a wife” with that said he stormed out of the sitting room and went straight to his room he couldn't believe she'll even go this far.  As for him he's made up his mind not to have anything to do with that child.

    A/N : Hameed left us all awestruck in the last chapter even I did expect that😂😂  who I'm I kidding.
